I decided to move to Truckee after I had been coming here for many years. With luck and, at the same time, facing many challenges, I didn't know what was coming ahead. Three months later, a pandemic hit the entire world. I got laid off from Vacasa, a vacation rental management company. Following my layoff, I decided to open my own business.
