We hired attorney James Payonk to represent my husband for injuries in a car crash. My husband ended up being diagnosed with a herniated disc but the insurance company was saying that he did not get the herniated disc in the accident. I walked into James Payonk office 1 1/2 years ago...for a malpractice lawsuit...he had me sign papers to not discuss my case with any other lawyer ...although he has not communicated with me since i walked into his office...1 1/2 years later he sends me back all my paper work telling me to find another lawyer because he knows that a malpractice lawsuit you have to present within 2 years and he did nothing..now there is no lawyer that wants to take my case in such short time left...i suggest you not waste your time on this lawyer..he will hold onto your case and no nothing...i called him several

I been working with James payonk for a few months now and it has been HORRIBLE. Mr.Payonk doesn’t return your calls and when he does decides to pick up it seem like your a bother to him. He don’t keep you updated on your case which is very unprofessional. He don’t send in your paper work when he says he does. Mr.Payonk doesn’t keep his word he is NEVER AVAILABLE EVER. The office pose to close at 6 but he leave at 2:30pm-4pm so if you work don’t take off because he’ll have every excuse of why he can’t see you. it seem like maybe he should just stick with doing either criminals case

Everybody's experience is different based on many factors, but I felt like my case was handled in a careless manner. It never seemed like he tried to gather evidence or gain information for the possibility of pursuing a lawsuit. It just seemed like he was simply trying to see if he could get an offer all while letting the details of a possible lawsuit fade away.
