Mitchell started Cocoon over 20 years ago and is the creative brain behind the Cocoon brand. He travels the world finding incredible pieces to bring back to his stores. He works closely with local artisans on his buying trips to create breathtaking treasures for the stores. Not only does he curate the unique collections of products for Cocoon, but he also designs and builds the custom furniture pieces that our clients commission.
Mitchell is hands on in all aspects of the business, and is works very hard to make his customers happy. Mitchell's passion for his work is contagious and is felt by every customer that walks in the door. Mandy has been working side by side with Mitchell at Cocoon for 17 years and wears many hats within the business.

Our accessories work beautifully with a variety of home decor styles, from beachside homes to midcentury abodes. Our Naples, FL showroom caters to the high end clientele in the community, offering an expansive selection of Cocoon accessories and ready to deliver furniture. Custom furniture also available - customers will work with our Greenwich CT staff to commission custom pieces, which will ship from our Greenwich warehouse.

We placed an order for a console table with Mitchell, the owner of Cocoon before COVID - shortly thereafter his store and factory was closed during the lockdown which we totally understood. However almost two years later and his stores are back open for business - he is avoiding us and refusing to either deliver the piece we ordered or give us a refund. Yet again last week he told us that he would fedex a check and nothing. Buyer beware - this guy is shady.
