Brooke became a stylist because she wanted to express her creativity. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York majoring in Fine Arts and Accessory Design, Ballou Stay Cosmetology School, and attended the prestigious New York Fashion week with Aveda. Brooke is Published in Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, Washington Wedding Magazine, and The New York Times.
Short, long, straight, curly, wavy to highly textured - Aveda professionals will create a cut and style to suit your look and lifestyle. All haircuts include a shampoo and blow dry. Please note that the service price depends on level of experience of your provider. At Georgetown Aveda we perform three techniques that can be confusing.
Whether you are seeking relaxation or pain relief, Aveda Georgetown's experienced massage therapists are here to help you by offering a thorough consultation, outstanding and customized massage services. During a hot stone massage soothing warm basalt stones are used as an extension of your therapist's hands in long, slow strokes.
Dry, oily, aging, uneven, sensitive and acneic skin conditions and eye concerns can all be addressed with a customized Tulasara facial treatment. Terrible cut for a very expensive price!!! Paid $130 to only turn around to scramble to find another salon to fix this horrible cut before work!!! The haircut was styled and look OK when I walked out, although I had haur ALL OVER my body because he didn't do a good job covering me. By the time I got home and looked at the back it was horrible. I asked for an angled bob and it was just all wrong!! It was not an angled Bob, even though I provided a photo of my previous cut and what I was looking for. I also called ahead and told them I have had bad experience with getting an angled Bob cut that was

Jean is absolutely AMAZING!!! She ensured my level of comfortability from beginning to end. I received a 60 min hot stone massage and it was extremely relaxing. Jean is very personable and very good at what she does. You can tell that she really cares that you’re receiving the ULTIMATE experience. 10/10 would recommend. I walked out on a cloud!

I would give you a zero but that’s not possible. so I give you a one. in all seriousness I asked for bangs that layer outward, showed pictures, and got nothing close to that request. I feel devastated because I was so looking forward to the next phase in my life but my confidence is now at an all time low. I wish I had never got my hair cut.

My hair stylist is Salome Desilva. I found Salome after trying out lots of different hair stylists in Georgetown when I moved there from McLean, VA 3 years ago. I started with weekly wash & blow-outs, but continued to go to my McLean stylist for color. And after 6 months, I trusted Salome enough to 'let' her do my color and she did a fabulous job. A skilled and talented stylist who does wonderful and fun color, great haircuts and wash & blow-outs to die for. AND, she's an incredible kind and warm person with a caring nature and sense of humor. Giver her a try - you won't go anywhere else after

I recently got my hair done by Salome and she was phenomenal. I have very long, thick hair that usually takes 6+ hours to balayage or highlight. Salome had my hair completely transformed in less than 4 hours and the results were stunning. This woman is a total professional, listens to what clients want, gives helpful advice while coming up with an individual plan for your hair, and clearly knows what she's doing!

Salome is magical! I've gone to many other hair stylists and none were ever able to achieve the look I wanted like she can. My natural hair is dark brown but I've always wanted an icy white blonde. Any hair stylist I've seen in the past has left me a bit disappointed... until I met Salome! She makes my hair look perfect every. single. time. !! She's not only extremely talented, she's also incredibly kind and attentive and always makes sure you get the look you want while also keeping your hair healthy. I decided to try Georgetown Aveda for the first time in August because I love Aveda products and was looking for a new salon. Unfortunately, I received one of the worst haircuts I've ever had and I would not recommend visiting this salon. I have a few major complaints about the experience:
1. As you can see in the picture, my ends are completely uneven.
2. My stylist, Karen, was 20 minutes late the appointment without any explanation. During the entire 20 minutes I was waiting for her to arrive, no one attempted to explain to me where she was and what was taking so long.
