When our friend, Peter Smith, unexpectedly passed away in June of 2018 the employees of Peter W Smith Construction faced a difficult decision. We could each go our own way to do our own thing, or stick together and pick up the pieces. Contacted Corey in May 2019 re leaking skylight. He came out to give estimate. Took several weeks to get a written estimate. Approved, signed and scanned back estimate same day that I received. Never heard from him again. Called, emailed and texted for several weeks. One of my messages just asked me to call me back to tell me that he did not have capacity or interest to do my repair so that I could move on and find another contractor/roofer. Corey essentially ghosted me. It is August and I have never heard from him again. Do not recommend.

Requested an estimate for repairing my skylights and roof. Corey cameos May 29th. After several unanswered phone calls he finally sent me an estimate on June 11. I approved the quote and emailed back to him on June 11. Never heard from him again. I called business phone, called cell phone, texted cell phone and sent emails. On August 1st, I gave up and hired Powell's Roofing for the job. I gave Corey plenty of opportunities to say that he could not or did not want to do my work. Instead, he ghosted me.

We have used Peter Smith for my home and my mom’s Home also and both times it has been a positive experience. Peter and his team are very professional and do great work. They worked hard to put a new roof on my house and barn - it came out looking great and we haven’t had any issues. When we had questions we called and we got answers in a timely manner. At one time Peter even came out to our house to look for himself and reassure us over a question we had months after the job was complete. We would definitely recommend.

Last month we had our roof replaced by Peter Smith Construction, and they FAR exceeded our expectations. The crew working on it were on-time, neat, polite, professional, thorough, and very efficient. They found several structural problems I had suspected and gave very cost-effective solutions. The job cost was very reasonable (we had 4 other roofing quotes), especially considering the quality of the work they did. Our roof looks great! More importantly, I am now confident in the structural integrity to weather storms and the installation of future solar panels.

I used Peter Smith Roofing nearly 10 years ago to have my roof completely redone. Not only were they very professional, but they were also fairly priced, reliable, and most importantly, did an excellent job. I recently had a leak in my roof--most likely due to Hurricane Sandy, and I called the office and left a message on their answering machine. I received a call back within hours and they came out promptly and resolved the issue. I was and am extremely pleased with their work and service and would highly recommend Peter Smith Roofing to anyone.

We used Peter Smith Roofing to replace our roof in 2011, and were thoroughly impressed with the crews work, professionalism, and how quickly the finished the job. When they left, there was no indication that a roofing crew was at our house – my flower gardens were not destroyed and there was not a nail to be found. When Hurricane Sandy came and destroyed our roof and rafters, Peter Smith was one of the first people we called. Once again, we were impressed and will recommend them to anyone needing a roof contractor. Thanks Again Peter and crew!!
