Stump grinder or Stump Cutting is a process that removes tree stumps by means of a rotating cutting disc that chips away the wood.

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience dealing with Mike, Justin and their crew. I had 2 large oaks and a smaller tree on my property that needed to come down but affordability and scheduling put the brakes on it several times. When I contacted Mike, he returned my call in less than 24 hours and was at my house to give me an estimate the next day. The price was incredibly affordable and even with me changing some details, Mike worked with me without issue.

We were having a difficult time finding someone who could come to our house and remove stumps for a reasonable price. I emailed J & J, they got back to me immediately, issued a free quote based on pictures I sent, and were at my house the next day at 8am. Completely the work - clean, professional, efficient, safe. A huge windstorm knocked three trees onto my house. I called J & J Tree Works and the owner was here within the hour. He provided an estimate and before the end of the day, the trees were removed, the holes in the roof covered, the broken chimney taken down, the gaping hole left after the chimney was removed was covered with tarp. When they finished the job, including cutting up the usable firewood and cleaning up the debris, my yard looked way better than before the storm hit. I can't praise them enough--professional, reasonable and thorough. Highly recommend.
