Hi, I was referred to Charlene by my sister. I Never knew what child care was like. I never had the need for a day care. I am sure glad that I found this place. Charlene is a pleasure to speak to. The atmosphere is gentle and soft. You feel it when you walk in. The kids enjoy themselves. I would recommend Ortega family day care over and over. Thank you Charlene!

Charlene and her team of teachers care for kids well being. They provide plenty of diverse experiences for the kids by exposing them to different cultural, and educational activities. On the way home from the daycare, my two year old says new words, singing new song, or trying to tell me something new.
They also provide and instill kids with good habit. Eating by themselves, saying thank you and please, and encourage them to comunicate and express their feelings through words, teaching them how to share.

I found Ortega Family Child Care one day as I was driving near Covina when I saw a Van with the name on it. I saved the number and called the owner. From that moment, for me and my son it has been an amazing experience that we carry in our harts and will never ever forget. We stayed with them for 5 long beautiful years. We sadly had to leave only because I had to move far away in order to be closer to my school and work which was almost two hours far away. Every parent I got to meet, has had a great experience with every single teacher and personal that works at this caregiving, highly educational

Ortega Family child care is an amazing place for child my son Joseph and I are really satisfied with there services. Charlene provides excellent nutrition for kids, library time, transportation, fun activites, art and crafts. It's a very comfortable and safe environment. My daughter and I came to Ortega family childcare after a negative experience at another facility. Charlene has been a god send, she is very patient with my daughter and always provides the best care. She has truly developed an amazing child care... complete with teachers, a cook, and a curriculum! I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter in her care and look forward to hearing what fun AND educational things they did during the day. I can't say enough good things about miss Charlene, her associates, and the child care!

Don't leave your kids with these people. "Charlene" supposedly head director is a joke. She had a van full of kids today when she hit a lady's car and didnt have insurance registration or a license. She left all the kids inside the van with the windows up and no ac. As a mom of 2 small kids I would never leave my kids with an irresponsible person like her. I'm outraged by her actions today.

We are so glad to have Ortega child care in the neighborhood. I sent my son there when he was 2 and he doesn't speak English at that time. Miss Charleen took great care of him. Very soon, he started to enjoy his little school and play with other kids. Now he is 3, he can speak both Chinese and English. After school, he still talks about his friends and teachers. We love to send him to Miss Charleen before his school year.

Ortega Family child Care provided dependable, affordable tranportation for my child, from school to home each day. Mrs. Ortega worked with our schedule, which changed often. There were days I would forget to let her know of a schedule change, and she always contacted me immediately prior to leaving the school.
Her service allowed me to have no worries about my child getting home each day.
Once I return to work, I will definately use her services again.
