The Gaston Companies' family-owned and operated legacy began in the summer of 1972 when Gaston's Tree Service started business in North Central Florida. By the early 1980s, Gaston's Tree Service generated a substantial amount of tree debris daily and was forced to dispose of the debris - an approach that was inexpensive at the time.
Following a state mandate in 1985 that vegetation could no longer be dumped into Florida landfills, Gaston Tree Debris Recycling (GTDR) began operations by starting the process of permitting the very first tree, yard, and land clearing debris recycling center in the state of Florida. At Gaston's Tree Debris Recycling, grinding is at the core of what we do. Grinding allows us to handle large amounts of wood debris and recycle all the vegetation that we process. Grinding allows us to process and recycle high volumes of tree debris.
For smaller and medium-sized jobs, we pick up and haul debris to one of our locations, where we then grind down and recycle the green waste into valuable landscape products, like mulch and topsoil, or for use in the energy production industry. For larger projects, like clearing a site for a new home community or business park, we can bring our grinders to your project site.

In 1986, Gaston's Tree Debris Recycling became the first permitted tree debris recycling operation in the state of Florida, and we've been picking up and hauling wood debris ever since. Whether you need an entire lot of tree debris cleared or you want some limbs and cuttings picked up from your home, GTDR has the experience to handle the job.
We are looking for a self-starter that needs little direction once trained. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Workdays are Monday to Friday and maybe some weekends. Our company does "storm work" so if a hurricane comes through any of the surrounding areas (Florida, Georgia, NC/SC, Alabama) the hours could change.
