Together with a small staff of dedicated floral professionals we bring you fresh cut flowers, floral arrangements, and blooming plants 6 days a week and all holidays. We love to talk about flowers and what we have in store on any given day. We deliver Monday thru Sat to all of San Luis Obispo including Cal Poly and Cuesta College, Shell Beach and Avila Beach.
When you order our Designers, choice Fall you get the very best of our rotating selection of Fall favorites arranged in an upscale white ceramic vase. Seasonal pods, berries, and thistles, Autumn tinted foliage's and warn colored flowers. Best part is 8% of the sale goes to our Autumn nonprofit CASA of San Luis Obispo, supporting children in need within our community.
At Open Air Flowers we are well versed in Sympathy work and can provide you with a wide range of options. We do custom floral arrangements, standing floral easels, casket pieces, floral sprays, and other floral tributes, Orchid and blooming plants. We deliver to all local funeral homes, and churches, graveside, and to residents.
Whether you are getting married at the courthouse today, at the Beach tomorrow, or planning a large wedding celebration at one of the many excellent venues the Central coast has to offer let us help with your floral needs. We do not have a minimum wedding package. We have delivered and installed wedding flowers at most of the major wedding venues on the central coast.

Today I ordered roses to be delivered to my lady's work. The phone service was beyond excellent. She was patient with me with having noise in the back from a construction project. My wife and I ordered our flowers from here for our elopement and they were picture perfect! I could not imagine a better boutonnière and my wife's bouquet was exactly what she wanted and they were able to make it happen solely from her description over the phone. Summary: phone order of flowers were never delivered to recipient. just so happens we found out because I asked the recipient of they got them. AWKWARD.

While enjoying the SLO downtown experience that we love, we came across this little flower shop with the most beautiful flowers. After talking with them for a few minutes I was so disappointed in the condescending tone that they used. The way that they spoke to me and their rudeness was so very disappointing. We always try to support small, local businesses but unfortunately the flowers were not enough to make up for the horrible service.

I stopped by on a Friday to order 25 red roses for my 25th wedding anniversary. The staff was friendly and explained that the only red roses they had were "garden roses" which should last longer than the more traditional roses that I was accustomed to. Since that was all they had, I agreed and ordered 25 of them to be picked up later that afternoon. I made it very clear that it was my 25th anniversary and I needed 25 roses (you probably see where this is going). When I got them home, something looked off and I counted the roses - 22! My sister called from Ohio to order flowers for my birthday. She had a great conversation with the florist about what was in season in CA and described things she enjoyed in an arrangement. The florist took it from there. It was the most stunning arrangement I have ever seen. This is day 11 and I have only had to remove 1 flower. Both my sister and I are extremely happy with the service, the flowers and the very creative arrangement. BTW, my sister is also a florist!

Called Open Air when they opened at 9am, told the florist what I wanted delivered and she had it out on the first delivery truck of the morning! Girlfriend said it was the most beautiful bouquet she has ever received and it was at a great price compared to other florists. 10/10 will use again and recommend.

I received the most beautiful bouquet from Open Air Flowers!! They delivered them right to my house & were exactly how my boyfriend had explained to the florist. I have bought/received several other flower arrangements from various other florist in SLO and Open Air's has them beat by miles!! Leslie absolutely saved the day for me and I could not recommend her enough. Please don't do what I did to poor Leslie and call her 45 minutes before I needed a beautiful sophisticated yet simple bouquet for my wedding! She did it with ease, but give the gal a bit more time than I did!
Called her up in a tizzy, asked for a bouquet featuring Hydrangeas and she made me a sturdy, gorgeous, elegant and most importantly unique bouquet. Everyone was ooh-ing and aaah-ing over it and I could not be more pleased with it.

I love open air. Lisa was extraordinary in taking my flower order. I showed up 20 mins before closing and she took time to explain varieties and options all while helping other customers.
I threw a lot of complications her way during the check out process the following day. I didn't end up going with the custom arrangement I ordered (which I felt very tacky doing). I saw something in the display case that I loved more and although it's not recommended I was able to take the arrangement I liked better home. I paid part cash and part card. I had a lot of questions....
