Today's Vision eye care services include comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations, custom contact lenses, glasses, frame adjustments, Ortho-K and more. We offer eye exams for eyeglasses, eye exams for contact lenses, and for general vision health. We are able to check your eye pressure without the "Puff of Air" that everyone dislikes! Optometrist, Dr. Neshia Rudd performs a digital eye exam using up to date technology to provide a thorough ocular health exam as well as an accurate prescription.
Need new eyeglasses? Or a new pair of prescription sunglasses? Come to Today's Vision, Tyler for an eye exam. Our eye doctor will update your eyeglass prescription and determine the type of lenses you need. Leave with a new pair of designer glasses or prescription sunglasses. Then, we will help you select the frames you want and adjust them to fit you with comfort.
Eyeglasses not your thing? Come to Today's Vision, Tyler for a contact lens eye exam. Our optometrist will help you choose from a wide selection of contact lenses, including many specialty contacts. Most patients are able to leave in contact lenses the day of their eye examination. We also offer specialty contact lenses for post-LASIK surgery, post-RK surgery, and for Keratoconus.

I have since found a new optometrist, but this was the worst place I’ve been to. They would push test that weren’t necessary, and wasn’t requested, then say it wasn’t covered by vision or health insurance. After you pay out of pocket, they file it on your insurance. I did notice where they were paid by my vision insurance, and was able to get a refund. But I’m sure if I had not noticed that claim, I would have not received a refund.

Dr Rudd and her staff are professional, but caring. Your vision truly is their priority and you feel that when you’re in their office. My son needed vision therapy so we had to drive an hour and a half one way twice a week, for 9 months. Their staff was always kind and helpful! They made a huge impact in our son’s life. He’s doing so much better and we are forever grateful to them!

The integrity of the office staff is extremely questionable! Dr. Rudd was recommended to me by a great friend who I trust.... Our experience with Dr. Rudd was informative and helpful. She helped me understand my sons vision difficulties and gave me hope that his vision would be corrected with her prescription. My son's prescription was made and I was excited because his vision difficulties were having a profound negative impact on his ability to do well in an educational setting. A New personal record! The worst prescription I've ever had!
Let me explain:
1. Wasn't even facing the wall with the letters to see them, was facing the door to the right of the chair.
2. Told doctor I was seeing double, her reply to the other lady taking down the info was "just ignore that."
3. I got put in Astigmatism contacts for both eyes but I'm 24 years old and have been wearing contacts for years and never had an Astigmatism in either eyes my whole life.
4. I disclosed when I went in, that I had the contacts I was wearing in for about a month straight, meaning my cornea was swollen

I would like to take a minute and let the Tyler community know how good Today's Vision has been to me. I've recently been trying to find the right contacts and went through alot trying to find the right ones. After trying several brands and numerous trips to the office. I was starting to feel like I was being a pain in the butt, but that was just me. They never once said anything and was always very nice and helpful. If your looking for an eye doctor Today's Vision is the place to go.
