I have been to two other acupuncturists (prior to being referred to Dr. Abel Kwan at the Thousand Oaks Wellness Center), with underwhelming results. Dr. Kwan is in a whole different league. I was referred for treatment for migraine (a complicated issue that takes time) but, during my third session, Dr. Kwan noticed I was wearing an arm band for elbow tendonitis. He asked me about it and then, when inserting needles he added a couple around this elbow. So after 9 months of pain, two cortisone shots, tedious exercises and several courses of daily anti-inflammatories...none of which worked..
