My family needed 24-hour in-home care for my grandmother. We were all a bit hesitant and scared about bringing a stranger into her home. She wasn't mentally capable of really understanding what was happening either. But all of the caretakers we got from Carelife were great and super attentive. To have a loved one in a lockdowned facility without the care and visits from their family is very difficult and heartbreaking. We were fortunate enough to have a family friend refer Catelife Home Care to us, which she was using. We were able to have our family member cared for by their wonderful caregivers the last few weeks of her life, then the night she passed away. I was only able to talk to them on the phone but they were so caring, patient and kind. I felt so comfortable having them there with my Aunt! My mother was hospitalized on Christmas Day last year. When she was discharged 4 days later, I needed to find someone to look after her quickly so I could go back to work. Because it was the holidays and because I needed someone that spoke Japanese, I braced myself for a really difficult time. A friend had used Carelife in the past so I called and was so grateful I did. My first contact there was Hiroshi. Carelife has been a godsend during a difficult transition time for my Mom after she had major surgery, complications, and two different nursing care facilities prior to home care. Carelife Home Care agency has been a lifesaver for me. I was actually going crazy and not sure what to do for my Dad, because he was leaving his house and going on spending sprees at the casinos. I have been so thankful for the people at Carelife and for their helpfulness in getting my Dad on a regular routine of being cared for while I couldn't be home to watch him. My feeling is that the people at Carelife actually do care and make an effort to reach out when my Dad is having issues. Carelife provided exceptional and caring in-home support for almost a year for my elderly mother so she could stay in her home as long as possible. When my mother could no longer be by herself for any period of time, the Carelife team (Eric, Rebecca, and Hiroshi) was flexible in providing services while we transitioned her to an assisted living community. They would provide in-home support on a day-to-day basis and consistently related information on my mother's status. My mother's caregiver was very respectful, and a caring and kind individual who my mother adored.
