Very professional setting. Plenty of choices. We wound up requesting a custom ring design. We shopped around to several places around the greater Ogden area, and Farr Jewelry turned out to be the cheapest. After going in and talking with Michael, we decided this was where we wanted to get our rings. Definitely do your own due diligence and research, but I highly recommend at least looking into this place as an option.

I came here looking for a gold Figaro necklace and to check the pricing on the necklace I wanted. So 2 weeks prior I was in the mall looking for the same necklace and was told the best they can do is $3300 which was alot cheaper than the original price tag ($4200). After telling the jeweler at farrs what I was looking for he brought out a book and showed me a very wide selection of what they can get in the catalog. Once I picked the right 9505513637311218686020 had the price next to it I said I want that one...and keep in mind it was a whole mm wider than the one from the mall I had looked at previously

Michael McHaon was very friendly and answered all of our questions, let me try on all the rings I wanted, and in no way pressured me or made me feel like I wasn’t worth the time if I didn’t purchase. My actual rating would be around a 4.8 just because the selection was somewhat limited in terms of the specific style I was looking for.
They also have a camera shop in the back with a great selection of cameras and camera gear. WI browsed around for a minute and a friendly employee asked if I had been helped

Silicon rings are COMFY and great when you're an active person! If you needs a ring/rings, go to Farr's Jewelry in Ogden!!! They were incredibly helpful while my fiancee was ordering my custom ring, and had it sized and back to me in ONE DAY after we discovered I was a size 6.5, not an 8.5, oops. They have been professional and knowledgeable, and both my engagement ring and our silicon rings are perfect!

Steve Shields was awesome in helping me with our 20 year Wedding Anniversary rings. It only took about a month after we decided exactly what we wanted and made some minor changes so it would be exactly what I wanted. They mailed the beautifully designed ring for me and now I receive compliments everyday when I wear my ring!

I can't say enough about this store. They are always friendly and courteous and the selection they have is extensive. Steve Shields is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had to leave a beloved ring there for a repair and was very nervous about it. Steve assured me that I didn't need to worry and that the repair would work out well. When I picked it up, it was perfect and I felt the fee was very reasonable. Their camera department is also great. Thank you Farr's!

What do you get when you bring in a wedding ring from the 90’s with a chipped princess cut diamond, a missing smaller diamond, and a very worn band? You get a very knowledgeable guy named Steve, who takes all… of that and transforms it into a new timeless piece of jewelry. He helped with the new design, and called us weekly with the progress and updates. We absolutely loved our experience with Farr’s!

Can't thank your camera guy enough for the work he did on my Nikon. I dropped my camera whilst on Holiday in England. It hit lens first on solid concrete. The U.V. filter broke and would not unscrew from the lens. I don't know how he got it out, but he did...! A new filter, and I was out the door in 20 minutes. Thank you camera guy. RWade

I rarely give five stars, but it is warranted here. I have done business with Farr's since the 80's when I lived in Ogden. After moving to Idaho Falls I did business with the Farr's in that location (now closed). While living in New York I did business with the store in Idaho Falls, and most recently did business with the Ogden location from my home in California. They treat me well, and most importantly I trust them. That means I know I get full value for my money when I make purchases, and when they work on a ring, the workmanship is top notch, and I don't have to worry

Best jeweler on the Wasatch Front. Talk to Scott, he's an expert and will do whatever it takes to help you find something special. They also have great camera and electronics people in house. These guys only sell high quality stuff and they stand behind their products. Don't believe other reviewers that had negative things to say. I've done business with them countless times and they treat you like family. There may be cheaper places to go but nowhere better in the Ogden or Salt Lake area. As my dad always says, pay the price and cry once.

I'm so pleased I went to Farr's. My husband and I just celebrated our 15th anniversary and we decided to get each other new wedding rings. We were not pressured nor rushed to make a decision. They have no bogus sales just fair prices. We received an appraisal for insurance purposes at no cost. Jewelry stores scare me. They should scare all husbands, fiances, boyfriends, and anybody else that might fall in love with a woman. They are man-traps designed to make you feel like a chump unless you have leveraged the sale of body organs for a gem.

Glad to see Farr's now has a Yelp page. I know some of the guys there and can vouch for them as great guys. Great selection of jewelry, watches, camera stuff and all at fair prices. Steve will take care of your jewelry needs and Mike is the go to guy for camera related stuff. It is great when a local business also surpasses the big jewelry shops in service and support. Makes the decisions to support them a no-brainer.
