Services
Accurate Environmental offers years of professional experience and has conducted thousands of septic inspections, water quality testing and soil assessments through the years. The business started on the Eastern Shore of Maryland but now offer septic inspections, water quality testing and soil evaluation services throughout most of Maryland.
When buying a home with well water, be sure to include a well inspection to ensure the well is in good working order and the quality of the water produced meets health standards. Well Inspections can identify potential issues by checking various places throughout the house and sampling the water. Septic systems are a little trickier in that the health of the septic system can be dependent on the size of the family using it.
All of Accurate Environmental's septic inspections are conducted by either a licensed Environmental Sanitarian or Maryland Certified Inspector.
Complete inspections follow Maryland Department of the Environment suggested guidelines and contain the following components: extensive homeowner interview (when available), record request from the local health department, and excavation and observation of the septic tank and related system components (the septic tank will not be excavated if observation ports are present).

Recent evaluation of our drain field led to non- certification of our entire septic system. They did a sight visit on a rainy day which was at least the 6th day of heavy rain in a row! Ground water was everywhere in the subdivision and farm fields. The lines could not be inspected as a result. A subsequent camera viewing of All lines a few days… after rain stopped showed lines were clear. We still had the lines jet washed out. The was and is nothing wrong with the septic system as confirmed by former head of Wicomico County Dept plus Atlantic Pumping who has and does all our maintenance

These guys are the real deal. I sell homes in Maryland and highly suggest using this company to inspect septic systems. Chris is awesome, very knowledgeable and will always give you an honest report. They have litterly saved my clients thousands of dollars in septic repairs by fully inspecting the systems before purchase. They have found roots, bad tanks, broken pipes and failing drain fields. 5 out of 5 rating, use them you wont be disappointed.

In June 2017 my septic inspection was done by Accurate Environmental. The inspection was done by Rod (co-owner with Marc). After a week of torrential rain the inspection was done. Anyone that lives in the Easton MD area knows that the soil is clay and does not drain well for a period of time after the ground is saturated. The septic test failed per Rod's report. The buyers, based on his report, requested a new septic installed per Health Department guidelines. When the health department came to inspect the site, they deemed that the septic system was functional and did not need to be replaced.
