You will be greeted by our friendly dental team who will take a few minutes to review your health and dental history and go over any concerns about your teeth/gums you might have. As a dentist with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Hendrick strives to make each patient's appointment go above and beyond expectations. One of his main goals as a dentist is to try to change public perception of dentistry, so that less people can suffer from dental phobias and resulting oral health problems!
Dr. Brent Smith grew up right here in Charlotte, NC. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied Biology. He then went on to receive his Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences degree from Boston University, and finally completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Brooke Dolin was born and raised outside of Charleston, West Virginia! She moved to Charlotte to be begin her career and to be closer to family. She attended West Virginia University for undergraduate and continued her education to become a dentist at West Virginia University School of Dentistry.

I’ve been visiting this office for years, and have spent several thousand dollars. My husband and children now come to this office. Dr. Cherniavasky is an incredible dentist and will inevitably do great things throughout her career, however, I just can’t deal with the office any longer in order to visit her. I’ve been patient and unwavering… throughout some time, receiving faulty cavity fillings multiple times, appointment reminders on cancelled appointments, invalid insurance claims, however, this past week has me livid.

It's a great friendly and relaxing environment. I don't think anyone wants to go to the dentist but if you need to go this is the best place to go. I had two teeth pulled yesterday not real sore today and Lloyd Johnston done an excellent job of getting those stubborn things out. And he is down to earth and funny as well as the staff!

Hi! To whoever reads this: I was a recent patient at Dest Family Dentistry. Let me tell you they were fantastic with me. I am really, and I mean really afraid of dentists. I even told the Doctor that, he said don't worry so am I. We both had a good laugh over that one. But as I sat in the chair everyone took such good care of me. I had ten (10) of my bottom teeth pulled and one (1) top wisdom tooth pulled. I was getting a bottom set of dentures. I was on laughing gas and novacaine shots. All I could feel was a little pressure. It was so easy. I was so surprised when we were finished, I had to ask
