Chas Falcone & Son
Falcone Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning is a third generation firm whose history dates back to 1889. The firm originated as Mangrum & Otter, a store that sold hardware, plumbing services, products and tin that existed for over 116 years at 81-85 East Santa Clara St. in downtown San Jose. This store was eventually bought by Charles Payne who later sold it to to C. L. Snyder and Dubrutz in in the early 1920's.

A short time later Mr. DuBrutz died and the name was changed to C. L. Snyder Company. Charles J. Falcone began working for Snyder in the early 1940's but, soon began to provide his own services, operating from the garage of his home on Cherry Ave. in Willow Glen. For three years Charles and his wife Loretta stored everything from toilets to water heaters.

Falcone Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has always done excellent work for us, so when my mother-in-law's furnace wouldn't start, we knew who to call. A technician named Mizael arrived at her home well within the two-hour window in which we were told to expect him, and he was polite and professional. I noted that he was wearing a disposable face covering correctly during the entire job. That's worthy of mention for any customer in these times, but since he was coming into an older person's home it was especially important.

Mizael quickly determined that the electric

Had my heating and air conditioning units serviced by Falcone on 10/7/19, and I just wanted to leave a positive review for them. They were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, professional and with a fair price. I like to support local business whenever possible and will call them again.

Hot water heater broke in the evening - called Mike Falcone the next day. They made time in their schedule early in the morning to get it replaced. Super nice crew Cory and Topenga (Ok, the other guys name likely wasn't Topenga, but I forgot) came on time and got the new unit in ahead of schedule. Really happy and showered.

We had Falcone out to repair our original 50's era floor furnace 2 days before Thanksgiving. It had been broken for two years. Not only did they rebuild and install the heater housing back into its original structure, they fabricated steel galvanized straps to support the weight. As a result, the heater works efficiently with the best thermostat we have had in the 26 years we have owned this property. Kevin was prompt, respectful and totally the consummate reliable professional. Not many people with this experience know how to work on these old heaters and also have the patience Kevin

I can't say enough good things about the Falcone team, in particular Tim and Alan. We got multiple competitive quotes and are so happy to have chosen them. I can honestly say that they were the most professional, courteous, and polite people we've ever had do anything on our house - ever. They adjusted schedules, worked tirelessly, and did all the little things to make sure the job (installation of 2 new furnaces and air conditioners) provided as little disruption as possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough - they were outstanding.

Mike runs a great business, one that has been family-owned since his grandfathers days. Our furnace broke down, and I started with enduring a series of 2-hour visits from sales people from other companies, who were dong their very best to scare us into buying more than we needed. And misrepresenting the state of our system, the regulations, and the PACE program in ways that suited their interests.

But Mike was a real pleasure, he owns the company and came with truth and integrity. He diagnosed what we really needed in about 15 minutes, in the process saving us thousands in unnecessary work.

Our kitchen remodel was held up because we needed a vent installed for the fan to be going over the range. We called Falcone and the third generation owner, Mike,
provided an estimate on the phone. We asked how soon someone could come to look at the job. He sent Alan the same day. Alan is a mechanical engineer and installed the vent that day. The work is precise and very professional.
We highly recommend this company.

Made an appointment for Friday from 2PM to 4PM. Didn't show. Falcone called and rescheduled to Saturday from 8AM to 10AM. Plumber didn't show. Plumber said he didn't get the text from his boss and couldn't come. I took a vacation day from work and waited 4 hours on two separate days.

Decades ago - my mom was one of Sr. Falcone's starting customers. Our family likes to support the community by continuing to do business with family business traditions like the Falcones. Michael sent out Tony or Tomi - not sure which, my hearing isn't what it used to be, who was delightful. But I found the pricing of $700 to replace the cold and hot water pipes from the water heater to the wall a bit high. Being a senior person without water isn't a good thing, so I felt compelled to go ahead with the job. However, I think I will have to break with tradition and look elsewhere for

Two thumbs up for Tony and Michael! We had a water heater leak and needed to replace the whole unit. The leak saturated the wooden panel underneath our water heater as well. Our home required a power vent water heater, which is more difficult to install. Tony talked me through the whole process and also replaced the wooden panel underneath. We had received three other quotes from other companies and Falcone Plumbing and Heating gave the best value. Tony and Michael completed the job in a short amount of time, 3 hours, with clean up included. We are definitely referring them to our neighbors
