This is a great place to stay. The rooms are oversized. You can usually park your vehicle right outside of your room. The staff work hard to keep the place clean. We definitely plan to stay there again. Must advise they do not have amenities. Don't show expecting the place to have a night club and room service. The Riata Inn in Presidio exceeded our expectations.

This little was hotel is a a tucked away gem. It had the cleanest rooms, the decor looked so fresh and new.
We arrived late but we enjoyed every moment. Our room was fresh and clean. The towels and sheets smelled freshly laundered.
In our future plans we will definitely be looking for more time to return to this great getaway spot.

Great location, easily accessible, affordable, clean, spacious.. I'm lost for adjectives, LOL! Diana and Victor are absolutely wonderful people. They are well acquainted with the area and were able to point out the highlights and places of interest. The hotel is well maintained. I, especially, enjoyed the pool and the beautiful views of the SUNSET. Highly recommend!!

Clean room with plenty of space. Even included a table with chairs in addition to desk, dresser and 2 beds. Fresh colored walls. We enjoyed the fun "cowboy" touches. Plenty of towels. Pleasant, helpful staff. Quiet- no noise from traffic. Bed was very comfortable. Curtains were nice black- outs.
Areas for improvement- WiFi was terrible. Not strong enough to check email. No cups/glasses in room. Someone hung the pics in a very sloppy way showing haphazard drill holes.

We stayed one night at the Riata Inn at Presidio, TX while traveling to Big Bend National Park. We had stayed the previous nights at the Quality Inn (Alpine), and the La Quinta Inn (Ft. Stockton). Not being part of a chain we we're a little apprehensive, but to our pleasant surprise the Riata Inn (Presidio) was the nicest of the three hotels we stayed in during our trip. The location was great right off of hwy 67. If your worried about traffic noise don't, hwy 67 is not that busy. We did have a problem with the shower not draining, but the lady at the front desk apologized and simply

Very nice place to stay in such a remote place in Texas. Newly upgraded with wood grain tile floors , fresh paint , new AC units and very spacious. Has king size beds and a pull out couch ( brand new ). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice full , soft towels. There is also a beautiful sunrise in the morning. You can also hear the coyotes howling just before the sun rises.
Now ... There are really only three places to eat in town and only one chain ( Subway ). But ! Both restaurants ( oasis and elpatio ) family owned and worth the trip. Low price and great food.

The "Inn" is a motel but it is a nice place to sleep after a long day on the road. The rooms are large and the staff was helpful; recommending El Patio for dinner and helping with directions.
I had planned on staying in Alpine/Marfa but I would have had to drive early in the morning to get to Presidio - this place is a nice comfortable place to stop.
I would stay here again.
