On 2nd thought:

I discovered at Dixie, in an EBay listing, a car that I always wanted. It looked lovely, the dealership lot had many really nice looking cars and salesman Pat was a gentleman and seemed quite fair.
We drove over 700 miles to Nashville and bought the car. It was shiny, pretty and seemed to be everything Pat promised and I desired.

When we got back to Pa after a 12 hour interstate highway drive,I took the nice performance car that cost in excess of $30000 to be inspected.
Much to my shock the inspector informed me that 3 of the tires had a tread depth maximum of 4/32 nds which

This was, by far, my worst vehicle purchase ever. I was fascinated by the look and power of a fully loaded X5 for sale by Dixie Motors. I should have done a better job researching known issues with the BMW N63 engine. Nonetheless, I took the vehicle for a test drive. All seemed well, so I took the plunge and made the purchase.
Here are a few things that happened in the first year of ownership.
1. After a few days, I consistently smelled burning oil. The curprit was found to be cracked CCV hoses. I saved money by replacing them myself.
2. I noticed the storage door in the truck would not stay

So Leonard Suter answers the phone 'Hello'...WTH? Had to explain Southern Hospitality and how important it is to identify yourself, your company, and a simple 'How may I help you...'
That pissed him off so the rest of the conversation did not go well. No photos but a very detailed ad. Said it was to early on a Monday morning to upload the photos due to not having the car detailed yet.
Ended the conversation with Leonard telling me 'You are really annoying.' Yeah, I get that... Old Retired Attack Pilots get that way with rude and indignant Used Car Salesmen...However

I had been searching for a good used Mini Cooper Clubman S. After trying to buy one locally and getting jacked around, I found one at Dixie Motors. I was given their best price over the phone and it was better by several thousand compared to local prices. I flew in and was picked up at the airport and was on my way home in less than 2 hours. Thank you Ward, for a great buying experience.

5 weeks ago I purchased a 2011 BMW X5. The engine has now blown and the repairs are estimated to be more than what the car is worth. Never again will I buy a car from Dixie. The salesman didn't seem to have any compassion about this when I told him the issue. He gave me a few places to take it to- thanks! Stay away!!!!

In response to your response:

Ward, your exact words were "that sucks". Don't give me some bs about valuing your customers. You clearly don't.

I have purchased 4 vehicles from Dixie Motors and couldn't be more pleased. I've dealt with different people each time I purchased a vehicle and every time was consistently excellent. I recommend that you go to Dixie Motors before you purchase a New or Used vehicle and see what they have available!

If I could rate a negative I would. I spoke several times to DJ. He agreed to sell me a car on Saturday late afternoon. I asked if I needed to pay a deposit or do something to secure the car... "no, I will put a sign in it & we are fine." I then emailed him every detail he had asked for Saturday afternoon.

Monday morning, he sends an email asking for information he could have obtained ten different ways. I don't immediately respond due to one heck of a day but call as soon as I see his email (late Monday afternoon).

They sold the car to someone else. I would not trust the

I have to say this is definitely one of the better used car dealerships you'll find.

They specialize in luxury and sports cars if you're in the market for that. But we bought a 2011 Subaru Tribeca here earlier this month. Mike Tant set us up with a test drive after I inquired about the car online (either through cars.com or cardealers.com) the day after. It was a fair price given the year and mileage, and we got a fair trade in value on our car. The car we bought is in excellent condition, and there have been no issues with the car as of yet.

They've been in business in Nashville

Visiting a used car lot is as high on my list of things to do as getting my lady physical - really, really low.

But as I was in the market for a year old Honda Civic and they had 2, I made the trip over there and ended up with a reasonably priced new to me car!

Stock: Dixie seems to specialize in higher end used cars, I saw a lot of forgein pretty fancy looking things on the lot. The Civics were a little out of place and (I was told) trade-ins for something fancier from the lot.

Customer Service: Actually really nice guys. I never felt pressure and when I told them exactly what I wanted they
