He volunteers his time and talent to many community organizations, like the Clio Girl Scout Troop #1976, the Flushing Early Childhood Center, For-Mar Nature Preserve, the Junior League of Flint, and the Flint Club. Andrew began his career in the outdoors with his Eagle Scout project completed in 1982, constructing a bridge in Fenton's Bush Park, giving access to a small island in the Shiawassee River and creating a quiet place for families.
