I had a flat tire, with my 7 year old grandson. I pulled in, was told they didn't change flats (I had the spare). Told me to move, or, "The boss was going to get mad". I pulled out, onto the street, and changed the tire myself. I'm 60 years old. They knew I was changing tire (I heard, "The mechanic point out to the boss, where we had parked, which was not on their property), but was offered no assistance. This lack of willingness to offer help, leads me to conclude, this place is worthless, and impervious, to helping people...especially, the elderly.

While on my way home from Shiner, had a break in my Airstream Trailer power cord which activates electric brakes. Pulled into Darilek Automotive (recommended by local family member). Clifton found the break and was able to fix. Stopped what he was doing to get me back on the road. Very friendly and prompt. Thanks for the great service! NIce trustworthy folks!.

Warning! I got pulled over Friday night, just as my kids buses drove by from their football game, to luckily only be warned that my license plate lights were out! So, today I rushed over to Darilek’s and Clinton changed those bulbs within 5 minutes before closing time! Now I’m a safe driver again! Thanks for being there every time my car needs you!

In a matter of only a couple of hours, Darilek Automotive was able to diagnose and repair what my mechanic in Houston was unable to do in 4 visits! Rest assured, these guys know what they are doing! They are courteous, professional, honest, and fair. Not only did they diagnose and repair what my mechanic was unable to do, but they also pointed out a mistake my previous mechanic made installing my front brake rotors. If you want it done right, bring it to Darilek Automotive!

This was by far one of the best experiences my boyfriend and I have had from an auto repair shop. We were traveling from out of town to visit the Shiner Brewery and our truck broke down about 12 miles north of Shiner. We were referred to Darilek and when we called to see if they could get the part, they told us they could have in in a few hours and… have us back on the road before dinner.
