A Periodontist is a dentist with advanced training in treating the soft tissues, bone, and other structures that support the teeth. Your dentist has referred you to our office due to a concern for an infection or other damage to these tissues. These conditions may be treated non surgically or surgically depending on the nature of the problem.
Your first visit to our office will typically involve an exam and consultation with Dr. Beckner, as well as any other necessary x-rays or photographs. He will examine any area or areas of your mouth of concern to you and your dentist, and discuss what may be needed to treat the problem. You may expect to spend 45 mins to an hour for your first visit.

Dr. Becker's office would be my recommendation for anyone that requires surgery on their gums. I've been here numerous times and have always been well taken care of. After the initial few pinches for numbing, everything else is smooth sailing. The staff (Amber) is so in tune with the needs of the doctor, that I heard less than 10 words spoken during my procedure. A very professional and down to earth guy.

I had a deep cleaning today and it went extremely well. The Hygienist was super awesome, I saw Dr Beckner a few weeks ago & he too was awesome. The Hygienist very kind and concerned if I was comfortable. She also took the time to explain different things, which I found to be helpful. She gave me some samples of what to use for my gums. So glad I picked Dr Beckner to help with my gum needs.
