Our structured program is based on the physical, mental, and emotional readiness of three, four, and five year olds. Our experienced certified teacher and our paraprofessional bring the spirit of fun into the classroom while emphasizing sociability, self-reliance, muscular development and coordination, and an introduction to routine schedules.
Some of the special events your child has an opportunity to experience in the first year are pajama day, Beach party and the well-loved Teddy Bear Picnic. In your child's second year, there are field trips, a Pow-Wow and Chippewa's creatively performed Circus! A balance of organized group activities and free-play makes an exciting and fun school experience for your child.

Services
In following safe guidelines, we will be asking that anyone entering the building wear a mask, sanitize their hands, and allow us to check temperatures. These are the same procedures that we are currently using with our students, staff, and volunteer parents as they enter. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Chippewa Preschool offers summer camps for 3 to 6 year olds. The program will provide age appropriate art activities, outdoor activities, music and movement, story time and snack. We will provide a fun, learning experience filled with wonder and adventure for your child! There will be three one-week themed camps that will run from 9:00-12:00, Monday thru Friday.
Chippewa Cooperative Preschool was awarded a $21,100 grant during the 2018-2019 school year. We would like to thank the Alden and Vada Dow Foundation for this grant. The preschool used the grant for a number of different upgrades to the school. The updates included the trikes, helmets, signs, the pavement to drive them on and the shed to store all the toys in.
