Years ago, when the Insurance Company she diligently worked for relocated to the West Coast, Carol decided to branch out on her own by starting her own Agency; KEL Insurance. While she obviously set out to increase her household income, she secretly hoped that one day one of her children would step in to take over her agency.
KEL Insurance began in the Nightlife & Hospitality Industry. The Nightlife Industry still remains one of the most difficult industries in which to find Quality Insurance and we happen to be experts at finding it for you. Our Standard Package Policy includes: General Liability, Liquor Liability, Assault & Battery, and Comprehensive Property Enhancement.
A. Because all businesses are unique and different, all premiums vary. There is no one set price for Insurance. Businesses are typically rated on Annual Gross Revenue in addition to other risk factors considered. Each business application submitted undergoes the underwriting process to receive a formal quote.
Many states require Bartenders and Servers to be certified through a Responsible Vendor Program such as TiPS. Most of our carriers will require your employees to be certified and at KEL Insurance we support it. Having your employees certified through a Responsible Vendor Program reduces the risk of alcohol-related incidents.
Assault and Battery related claims are on the rise in the Nightlife & Hospitality industry and Insurance carriers will require compliance for security personnel in an effort to reduce claims.
