In Alabama driving with a BAC (blood alcohol content) of 0.08% or higher is illegal. If you are stopped by a police officer you can be arrested for DUI (driving under the influence). First, the officer will need to determine whether or not you are under the influence by performing one or more of several field sobriety tests.
A controlled substance is defined as illegal drugs that are classified by the government as being dangerous. Thousands of Alabama prisoners are in jail or prison due to a drug offense. Drug possession typically goes hand in hand with drug sales. Drugs typically found in possession and/or sold on the street are: cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, PCP, heroin, LSD and ecstasy.
Divorce is one of the most tremendously stressful times in a person's life. You need someone to help guide you through each phase of your divorce, from the initial petition through temporary custody and support orders to the final property settlement and divorce decree. You want an attorney who will make sure that your needs are served, someone who will stand up and make sure that your case is resolved in your best interest.
Being arrested for domestic violence can be a frustrating and stressful experience. The police knock on your door after someone - your spouse, your partner or perhaps a neighbor - has called to complain. Before you know it, you are being placed in handcuffs and led out to the police car in front of your neighbors.

Josh Swords was the attorney when my grandson was in an automobile accident. Josh came to see him in the hospital and talked with him and explained everything to him. He handled all the legal aspects of the situation and was very professional. The accident was not the fault of my grandson but he had a lot of injuries and Josh was there as much as a friend for him as an attorney. Great office staff. And of course Roll Tide

Dishonest, unethical, incompetent, lazy, and unaware of laws, words, accounting, sayings, clocks, and the location of the courthouse. He does enjoy writing his own reviews, plagiarizing his website, refusing to account for time & work or return files, ignoring the State Bar Association, and threatening his own clients (conveniently in writing, but also billable to said clients). However, he does give fairly accurate advice to the opposing party. Therefore, unless you are wanting to go to prison for a code violation, I highly recommend retaining my inbred golden retriever for any legal needs for
