C. J. Seyer opened his shop out of his garage in 1963. His son Matt, owner & operator, has built up and expanded the company to what you see today. We care for our customers and always tell them what they need before doing the work. They swapped out a motor in my Honda Civic 6 years ago and, 140,000+ miles later, it's STILL going!

The owner actually picked us up last night in the pouring rain and got us up and running the next morning. Since we were passing thru heading back to Ohio from vacation he saved our Easter weekend.

We can maintain fleet services & repairs for your organization in a timely and cost effective manner. At Seyer's we strive to do things right the first time. We offer a free shuttle service within the Cape Girardeau city limits while your vehicle is being serviced with us. A Missouri Motor Vehicle Inspection may be required for one to get there vehicle registered in Missouri.

Towing, engine tune-up, State & DOT Inspections, brake system, exhaust system, A/C & heating system repair, electrical diagnosis and repair, general & scheduled maintenance.
It was opened to help our customers who need roadside assistance or any towing & winch-out needs. As an AAA affiliated and, NAPA Auto Care Center with ASE Certified Technicians, we feel we can help others when needed. As of a result, we are a full service facility from diagnosis to full repair. We are licensed to do State Vehicle Inspections on cars, trucks, trailers and, motorcycles.

The worst experience I ever had. people are not punctual and they are rude. I gave my car for repair and they said to me that they would look at it by end of the day itself. i have waited for two days but not got any call from them. Finally when I called to them, they said that they have not even checked my car yet. I asked them when they would be able to look at it. they said they are not sure. They gave careless reply. I am an international student studying in cape. experiences like these could make us leave the city

Both my catalytic converters needed to be replaced and while at the shop, they also said the turbocharger needed replaced. So they had my car for about 2 1/2 weeks( the 1st time) and I was only a few miles out of Cape when the engine light came on. I called them, but they couldn't do anything then, so I had to take it back the following week for them to reprogram and calibrate the turbo. Again, a few days later the engine light came on. I wasn't having issues with it, but then last weekend the power wasn't what it should be. Took it to another shop to see what was going on. They

I have 3 vehicles and a RV and I take them all here. They have been very courteous but that is not the main reason I go here. I have had experience in the past with auto shops lieing to me about issues with my vehicle so they can sell a service. Seyer's Garage has not done that to me. They are an honest auto shop that is also reasonably priced. They have not given me a reason to service my vehicles elsewhere.

Zac came and rescued me strand in Jackson Mo, when my vehicle broke down. We had the battery tested and attempted to get a smaller belt for it. The compressor froze up and putting a small v-belt wasn’t a option. After several attempts to get AAA back on the phone Zac called and assisted me in arranging a tow. This garage does EXCELLENT work for reasonable prices. They had our truck done the day after we dropped it off. Ours wasn't major repairs BUT we had no clue what the diagnostic was going to tell us. Great customer service, even when I had to reschedule! I highly recommend Seyer's garage if you're needing a good mechanic in the Cape Girardeau area!

My family and I have used Seyers for many years. Fair and upfront pricing. Very good at educating about what problems your vehicle is having. I have never felt comfortable asking questions about my car because I have always felt like I was being talked down to. However, in my experience with them that is not the case.

I took a newly purchased used car to them to have it checked over. The radio wasn't working so it needed a battery. They told me they couldn't find anything, that it was a good car. A month later i noticed it was driving rough. Took it in they said it needed a wheel bearing. Replaced that and the radio still isn't working after new battery. The brakes squeal sometimes so i took it in for a 3rd time to have my pre purchased brakes put on. The woman said I didn't need pads but the rotors were so bad it's metal on metal. We had 2 dealings with them within a few days. The first my husband broke down on the highway. The wrecker driver was very courteous and professional. The garage kept us updated on the repairs and the cost was reasonable, they patiently answered all of our questions. The second the battery died in my car at the vets. The tow driver was wonderful. I told him the battery had left me twice and I wanted it gone. He tested the alternator and starter to make sure they were not the problem and replaced the battery like I requested. We will use Seyer's for anything our vehicles need. I highly recommend

We broke down about 20 miles south of Cape on a road trip back to Florida after visiting family in the area. My cousin recommended Seyer's and we were very pleased. Knowing we were on a trip, they quickly sent a tow truck to get our van to the shop and made the necessary repairs (alternator) before closing time so we could get back on the road. Everyone was courteous and professional, and they charged a fair price for everything. We visit this area a couple times each year and will gladly use Seyer's again in the future.
