I would like to thank you for visiting East Haven Memorial Funeral Home's website. We are one of the oldest businesses in East Haven, preparing to celebrate our 75th anniversary. One of the many things that set us apart is that our funeral home has been run by the same family since its inception. The Longobardi/Brennan family has cared for the grieving families of the East Haven and New Haven area for more than 100 years.
Before moving over the bridge, founder Salvatore Longobardi worked with his father Dominic Longobardi on Chapel Street. Today, David Salvatore Brennan, Sal's grandson and fourth generation funeral director is now the owner of the family business. Just as the community has changed over the years, so too has our funeral home.

Services
East Haven Memorial Funeral Home was founded by Salvatore Longobardi. In 1939, Sal packed up and moved his expecting wife Angelina Perrelli Longobardi a small town of just about Nine Thousand. He previously worked in the family business, Longobardi Funeral Home with his brother and father on Chapel St., New Haven.
Staff members of East Haven Memorial Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. His parents, Dalton and Josephine Brennan lived in Branford at the time.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
When you order funeral flowers from Flower Wonderland, our skilled and compassionate florist will work directly with the funeral home to ensure that your delivery is timely and accurate. Same-day delivery is often available, please call (203) 488-0948 for a more customized experience. Honor the departed's religious or cultural belief with flowers appropriate for a viewing or wake, funeral, cremation or graveside service.
