If you don't have a personal connection to them, don't bother. I called them after looking at reviews online to shop mortgage rates (isn't that what mortgage brokers are for?). The first receptionist was very kind and forwarded me to a broker right away. I explained my situation and asked if she could give me a quote and any other information. She seemed annoyed and said that she can't give me a number right away and that she needed more information without specifying what she needed. I explained that I was a first time home buyer and proceeded to give her the home price, percentage
