Swirlfree Mobile Detailers was established in Atlanta in 2009, but the passion behind the business was born decades earlier, in a tight-knit Italian and West Indian community in Brooklyn, New York. As a young man, I had my heart set on doing one of two things: flying airplanes or working on cars. Since you're here, you can probably guess which direction I chose.
In 1993, at age 21, I began an apprenticeship at a Brooklyn body shop. The owner was a perfectionist who had high expectations of himself and of his team, and a sharp eye for detail. This insistence on absolute precision is something I wanted to emulate and incorporate into my own behavior. Over time, I perfected the techniques behind paint correction, headlight refinishing and interior restoration.
