He treats every customer with respect and listens to your concerns and helps you understand so when you leave, you aren't driving away confused or unsure. Just one look at the garage at Car Spec says it all! It speaks volumes as to the type of quality and pride John puts into his work for each of his customers! CARspec is a valued member of our business community in Eden Prairie. John and Robert are both certified Toyota master technicians who really know their stuff. Excellent diagnostic skills. They know how to solve problems the first time, instead of like others who just throw parts at it with no idea if that will fix it! Highly recommend you get into their website and sift through the various entries in their blog. It is interesting as all get out for anyone who likes cars, and it proves to all who read it that they are true Toyota experts. I take my 4Runner to them for an inspection every few years

Had an issue with my tires traveling across the states to see family this Thanksgiving. Half way through the trip the tire pressure was low and thought I had a flat. In an area I wasn’t familiar with, I searched googled for the nearest reputable Toyota service station. Thankfully we came across Car Spec! Not only was the price reasonable, the service was surpassed by the courtesy and care of the staff. Would recommended 10/10 stars if I could!

I have trusted John and his team with my cars since 2017. I first encountered CARspec while looking for a shop to inspect a Toyota Prius I was interested in buying. My husband was excited to find CARspec - he was looking for something closer to our home and loved the great reviews! We've had several estimates and repairs done over the past year at CARspec. We have two Sequoias and a Tundra- all very used -one that just hit the 400K mark. CARspec was unfazed dealing with the issues that come along with… well-used vehicles - coming up with intelligent and inventive ways to keep the vehicles repaired and running safely without breaking the bank.
