Starting out as a side project, the first log cabin Paul Troyer (founder) built was a 24'x12' solid log dwelling.
After a weekend at a local trade show the business was underway! From solid log cabins, to pole barns, to remodel construction work, every effort was directed towards the deep rooted-customer relationships that we strive for to this day. By 2016, all projects at Buckhorn Builders had evolved into modular log homes.

Although lead times vary slightly throughout the course of a year, Buckhorn Builders will have your home completed within 6 months. Do to the fact that Buckhorn Builders is a state certified modular builder, your home has a full set of engineer approved blueprints readily available.
If any additional permits are needed from your county or building jurisdiction, Buckhorn Builders will work with you and the building administration to accomodate the proper requirements.Foundations, driveways, and site-work are not included in our base price. A crawl space with 3-5 rows of block typically may cost between $6,500-$18,000.

We took our preliminary design to Paul and sat down with him to draft up our dream home. He always had time for us, answering any questions and addressing any concerns that we had. Once we had everything designed and prepared, the house was put together without issue. Prefabrication is the way to go.

The name "Custom" has a special ring to it, doesn't it? Buckhorn Builders builds a number of custom homes every year. A name hasn't been given to these specially built homes because they encompass a small part of all the other homes we build!
