We have global supply agreements and long term partnerships with many of the leading machine tool and machine manufactures built up over our 60 year history.
Chevin Tools has many years of successful experience in design, manufacture and installation of high quality equipment. The company is accredited to ISO 9001:2015 as well as following both our own in-house quality manual and any further quality plans required by our customers. We select sub-contract partners who meet our own quality requirements and provide fault-free, on-time deliveries.
Chevin Tools is able to provide the support and toolholding needed to generate the best results in a modern production facility. Adaptation of standard toolholders or outright specials can give an extra edge to productivity when carefully matched to the machine's capability and the product requirements.
As a result of partnership agreements built up over more than 30 years we have developed Chevin Capto quick change tool holder adapters for all major machine manufacturers. Chevin Capto, also known as polygonal taper interface with flange contact (PSC), is a quick change system that reduces the measuring, set up and tool change time, allowing extra metal cutting time.
Innovations in the Chevin Capto system has seen the integration of the Chevin Capto clamping units directly into the turret disc. This system replaces the factory-supplied turret and the requirement for machine adapted clamping units, while retaining all the benefits of the quick change Chevin Capto clamping system.
