We had GetPlated host a reception for 70 people (that unexpectedly turned into 90 people) and they did a fabulous job. The staff were wonderful to work with ~ super friendly and helpful ~ and were troopers in the heat of the afternoon. The food was delicious & so beautifully prepared by the chef. Alex was responsive & great to work with. I cannot say more about how happy we were with GetPlated.

Working with Alexandra and GetPlated DC staff was a pleasure from my first contact until the last guest left my daughter’s wedding at the end of the night. Our original venue had just cancelled our contract, so we were in crisis mode. Alexandra was calm, supportive, understanding, and available for all concerns, large or small. Her professionalism, organization, and warm support were invaluable in reducing the stress we were all feeling. Tasty food, excellent service and great prices. We loved that Get Plated offered packages for small weddings. We had an intimate 8 person wedding on June 19, 2021. We wanted to at least have a 3 course dinner for our family. Get Plated provided just that! There was so much to choose from and everything looked and tasted delicious. Service was exceptional and the selections for table linens and decor was great too. We are so happy we choose Get Plated. We can't wait to have another event to hire them again.

My wife and I recently used GetPlated's services for our April micro-wedding. The food was very well-received by our guests and we really enjoyed it ourselves. Standout items were the crab cakes, brisket bites, filet mignon and our signature peach/bourbon cocktail. The wait staff was excellent, very attentive, speedy, and always wearing a smile. Highly recommended.

Every single one of our guests raved about how amazing the food was and how ahhhhmazing the staff were! I felt like they were all friends attending the wedding! After having to postpone our wedding 3 times, we had gone through the entire list of DC area caterers. From the moment we arrived to our tasting, we knew that there was no one like Alex and her team at GetPlated. First of all, the tasting itself was like one of the best dates my fiance and I have ever been on! I HIGHLY recommend doing the tasting.

Amazing creativity and a true ability to execute a client vision! We had a very intimate event this year and reached out for catering services. All I can say is WOW. I'm a designer and event planner in DC, and Get Plated is *by far* the absolute best caterer I have ever worked with on the east coast. Not only is their food phenomenal (I mean you will seriously lick your fingers and lips and probably even your plate), but their staff is always professional and pleasant, and they even go the extra mile to set up beautiful food and beverage displays for your event. If you need a caterer for any event, large or small, do yourself (and your guests) a favor and book Get Plated!

My experience with Get Plated is bitter sweet. While I was pleased with the menu, food and accommodations in our initial stages, by the end of our event, I was disappointed in two particular areas. Our contract included a beverage station for 110 guests to be served a non-alcoholic Jamaican "rum" or tropical punch and lemonade. Since we had drop off service with a separate service staff, we were able to see exactly what was provided for our beverages station and that was a few canisters of powdered fruit punch and powdered lemonade mix. Get Plated is amazing!! They catered our Thanksgiving dinner and we couldn't have been happier. Their initial menu offerings all sounded wonderful, and we went with their traditional menu. The turkey was so flavorful and all the sides were exquisite. While they were traditional, they all seemed to have an added element that set them apart from a regular thanksgiving meal, making it all the more special. I was especially pleased with their potatoes au gratin, easily the best I've ever had! In addition to the food being exceptional, the staff was as well. Alex was extremely easy to work

I've been the main person in charge of catering for my company (300+), and I can honestly say that this is the best catering service I've tried in the last 18 years - not only is the food ridiculously delicious, but the presentation is just gorgeous, and the portions were just the right size. Better yet, each time I've used them, I get tons of compliments (as if I've cooked it, lol) and get asked the name of the "restaurant" that did the catering - great disappointment when I tell them is not a restaurant they can visit but a catering company is always expressed

Alex and Keyon catered an event Ibwas at recently and it was absolutely fantastic! The spread looked like it was straight out of a magazine! Every plate and dish and spoon was perfect. Even the bowl of butter looked delectable!! The food was absolutely perfect. I kept going back for more servi gs! I highly, highly recommend GetPlated for your next event.
