Food has always been very important in our lives. The dinner table is often the only time of day a family is all together, and has always been special in our house. We were raised in kitchens, our child was raised in a kitchen, and our grand-daughter is as well now. We started off doing Kansas City Barbecue Society competitions all across the Midwest in the mid 2000s and did it well for a decade.
We took home numerous first, second, and third place prizes in dozens of different competitions. After years of practice, and perfecting our own rub and sauce recipes, we started catering. After a few years of this, realizing how well it was going, we decided to make it official and started looking for a building to bring our dreams to fruition.

My dad had told me about this places after catching whiffs of the food while he was across the street getting his car repaired. When I came back in town for the holidays it was the first place we went to and it definitely lived up to the hype. The staff is VERY polite and helpful. Their portion sizes more than justify their prices. Annie's Eats is definitely the place I will be going to for BBQ anytime I come back home to visit.

I asked a question about the food concerning my wife's eating habits and the staff was very rude and disappointing. .I had high hopes for visiting for the first time and was quickly disappointed.. someone needs to teach the girl in the kitchen with the hoop nose ring a thing or two about customer service and how NOT to alienate customers

An awesome find locally. Before we would drive to St. Louis to get decent BBQ but now just a few blocks away. Really haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. Only problem is they run out of all their specials nearly right away so recommend calling ahead to lock one in. Everything is good try it all and don't forget the sides. Best baked beans I have ever had.

This place is absolutely the best! Hands down best bbq in town. Annie has a great thing going. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is also outstanding. The new girl up front, I believe her name is Elizabeth is one of the friendliest folks I’ve ever dealt with in the food service industry! Go here, you won’t be disappointed. The Thursday meatloaf special is pure 🔥. Go here, you won’t be dissapointed

Service: everyone who works there seems friendly and seems to be having fun - you feel like they are glad you are there.
BBQ: so far I have had the pulled pork and the sausage; my partner had had the brisket and the chicken (and let me try them). I think the brisket is better at Longhorn. The sausage is about equal at either restaurant. The chicken had great flavor - I would definitely get it again. The pulled pork is so good - still has texture and super yummy. My only complaint was the amount of fat chunks in it but those are easy to pick out and honestly are probably adding flavor.

Easily the best BBQ in town. The sides are just as good as the amazing meats. Whenever I have company, I like to get take out from here. I always get them the the brisket and pulled pork. Don't forget to get the sides too. Their baked beans are truly unique with a sweet flavor and a little meat in them, the mac and cheese is my mom's favorite on earth, and their cheesy potatoes are rich and creamy. This is a great place to take locals who haven't discovered it yet or to show off local bbq to out-of-town guests.
