Fantastic experience with Burki Limousine , easy process, from quote through final billing, and best of all no surprises.
We hired the sprinter van to take a group of 12 people wine tasting around Loudoun County. Van was at our arranged pick up ten minutes early which was nice. We visited 5 wineries and our driver, Sam, did a great job keeping us on schedule. I would recommend using this company for you limo and van needs around Northern VA.

This company was booked for the 1 hour drive from the airport to our hotel. After 30 minutes, the driver showed up and told us we were sharing the van with a group going to a hotel in a different direction (adding 30 minutes). At this point, the one hour drive would take two hours. While we waited to drop the other group, we told the driver we were upset about going in the wrong direction. He lied and said it was the only route (D.C. to Annapolis to Prince Frederick). Priced as advertised, very reasonable Burke to Dulles round trip $100 plus tip. (It's $90 to park in Economy for a week at Dulles and it's a hassle to take the shuttle). Drivers were on time, courteous and professional. Town Cars both directions. No follow up needed for return trip. The driver was waiting inside arrivals with a sign in his hand with our names. Great service!!

I've had decent experiences with Burki Limo in the past but I will not be using them again after our experience last night coming home from Dulles.
The driver had arrived well before our plane landed (plane was scheduled to land at 6:40 - he called from the cell phone lot at 6:07). He left a message to call him when we landed. Unfortunately, I didn't get the message til we were at baggage claim with our bags. (I had checked my phone when we landed but apparently the message didn't come through right away). When I called back, I told him he could pull up front and we would walk

Left me stranded at Dulles. Not there when we arrived, phoned their number to be told to stand at Starbucks. After another 20 minutes, I phoned again to be told the driver had a problem with the previous customer and they would send another car in an hour!!!!! i refused and told them i would get a taxi instead.
Later i mailed Burki Limo to put my complaint in writing and received the most abusive reply possible, telling me to be a man and phone them instead of sending a mail and to go back to my 'Euro Hovel where i crawled out of". i replied asking for the e mail address of the owner

I have used Burki a few times in the past with incredible service; however, on Monday I experienced the total opposite.
I had scheduled a pickup at my home at 4:30 AM on Monday morning to ultimately catch an 8:10 AM flight from Dulles. 4:30 rolled around with no one there (which I thought unusual since they had always been prompt every other time). At 4:43 AM I called Burki to inquire the whereabouts of the driver.
The dispatcher asked if I would hold and said he would call the driver to find out his location. Once the dispatcher got back on the phone, he informed me that the driver had overslept

Left me stranded at Dulles at 6AM. Left 4 messages asking where they were. Never heard back. Called two days later to see if they had gone out of business. They gave me the most unbelievable runaround, with every possible way the mistake could have been my fault, including (get this!) Maybe I called a different company? Not one apology.

Gave a one-star rating because it may possibly be better services in Virginia but do not expect great service in Maryland. Driver was pulled over and didn't have proper paperwork so he left me and my party of 30 stranded with no transportation. Talked to customer service and sent email and they were totally unapologetic. Very poor customer service. Will NOT be recommmeding this company to anyone in the Maryland area.

I used these guys for a trip from Bethesda to BWI and a return from BWI to Gaithersburg. I should say "tried" because when I got off my flight, no one was there. I called the company, and they said to meet him in baggage claim. I went to baggage claim, waited for 10 minutes and called again. The dispatcher told me that his driver was at the airport and asked me "what I wanted him to do about it". I want you to have your driver, with a sign, on time for my flight. It's not that hard, and every other sedan service I've used has been able to accomplish this.

I enjoyed the service, the car was clean and smelled good. A nice 5-10 minute drive. The price is what brought the rating down, I was hoping for no more than $20 for a less than 10 min drive, less than 5 miles, for a regular taxi, probably be $12 and change, we got to Dulles Airport and it cost $30, not including tip. Too much! disappointed!

We used Burki Limo for a Sadan pick-up from Dulles and drop-off to our hotel in DC. Driver was waiting for us at our baggage claim, easy to find with his sign. We also used for pick-up from our hotel to BWI. Both drivers were nice, good drivers, and on time (if not early). Very easy online reservation system. The only complaint was on the way to BWI the front passenger window wouldn't roll up and we had a fairly long drive to the airport on the freeway - a bit chilly. Overall though, would definitely use this company again.

For the pickup, the driver arrived a few minutes after I called the number to confirm that I arrived at the international arrivals terminal and cleared customs, which was prompt. The driver was friendly and polite. However, towards the end of the trip he started to ask me for directions. I was not completely familiar with the location of my drop off, but luckily I had my GPS to help guide us. I do not think that I should have had the need to give directions, considering what would have happened if I did not have my own GPS with me.

The owner took the time to comment on my review, but, instead of acting like a real business owner and explaining what he will do to rectify the problem so that it doesn't occur in the future, he lies (again) to try and diminish / negate my poor experience with his company. Do not use, horrible service! The driver was 30 minutes late for our trip to Dulles. No one called us to tell us they would be late, so when we called them they told us the driver was 5 minutes late. 15 minutes later we call back and get the driver's direct number, with him saying he's 3 miles away. He finally shows up 30 minutes late and we had to run through the gates to make it to our flight on time. This is how I get to Dulles. I call Burki the day before, tell them my phone number and what time to get me. They show up on time, accept credit cards without a fuss and charge about the same as a taxi. The cars are must nicer than a taxi as well and the drivers are a bit more professional.
I was slightly less happy with the Dulles to home trip only because I didnt see the guy with my name on a sign - which honestly is the whole point of having a sign with someones name, that they can see it and find you without having to call the main office.
