My name is Valerie Mouille Daniel. I received my bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. I also have a bachelor of science degree in health promotion from the University of New Orleans. Dr. Carr has been my amazing boss since 2006 and it has been a pleasure working for her.
Dr. Carr established her dental practice here in Mandeville, Louisiana in March of 1996. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in June of 1992, after which she sought further education in dentistry through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.
This position is more than just a job. It's an opportunity to learn and grow with a terrific dental team. As a dental assistant at our office, you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal verbal skills, excellent patient care, and strong organizational abilities. You must have the ability to build rapport with our patients.
We take a full series of digital dental radiographs at a small fraction of the normal radiation exposure via our wireless sensors. This enables us to study your mouth long after you have left your appointment and make sure that we are fully evaluating your teeth, bones, gums, and any other issues that lie hidden beneath the surface.
Our team and office is excited to see all of your family from ages 1 to 101 and beyond. Children are special to us and we want to ensure that they have a good experience at the dentist. It is our desire that they have a good experience and fun here and learn good oral habits from the start, reinforced at home, and guided here as well.

Well, for starters I've never been to a dentist that served cookies in the waiting room. Seems rather odd. But I went anyways. She was very nice, but it became very expensive as she did not take my insurance (MetLife) and she was under no obligation to agree to their prices, which she didn't. I've been to other dentist that are not contracted with my insurance, but still honor their prices. It ended up costing me two to three times as much as with dentist that take or honor my insurance. Lesson learned.

Today I had my six month cleaning with Val and Dr. Martha Carr. It was rescheduled from the month of April. The whole experience was excellent , from meeting me at the car and escorting me directly to the dental chair to checking my temperature before I was even allowed to come into the office. I was a bit concerned about the safety of getting my teeth cleaned at this time. I should not have been concerned at all. Dr. Carr and her staff had put multiple safety measures in place (masks, goggles, face shields, etc.) to protect me and to ensure they were also well protected. Overall, just a great

BE AWARE! BE AWARE! If you are looking to throw your money away, and have the worst dental work done then this is the dentist for you ! I have spent thousands with Dr Carr if you can even call her a Dr and all of the work completed has been a complete nightmare! Dr Carr has put 3 crowns in my mouth and within 2 years they have all crumbled. This office is in the business to do bad work so they can keep you coming back over and over to take your money ! Dr. Carr and her staff made going to the dentist an absolute pleasure. They are knowledgeable, professional and did everything possible to ensure my complete comfort. They even completed my 3 year old son’s first check up while I was getting my teeth cleaned - sped up my morning! They were extremely good with him, chatted him up about superheroes, and made him very happy with going to the dentist. He didn’t want to leave. Beautiful and comfortable office. We both left happy!

I really enjoyed my visit to Dr. Carr's practice. I like when the office has the latest technology. I feel like I'm getting the latest and greatest care. I would sum up my experience as it felt as though I was being cared for by professionals in my family looking out for me. Dr. Carr spent more time with me than I've experienced at other practices and she discussed a very thorough range of dental considerations. Communications and scheduling have been easy and the staff all are super friendly and professional. I'm not sure what else I can say other than there was nothing about my visit I felt needed

Mrs Martha Carr has been wonderful to my family! Gone out of her way, completely above and beyond to help my son when he had an accident and knocked out a tooth. Helped my husband with previous crowns that were done else where that he seemed to not be able to keep in or that gave him trouble in some type of way. She always seems to give the best advice as she would do or has done with her own children. We absolutely have fallen in love with her and her family as well as all of the ones there in the office!!! They are absolutely precious to us. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for that right

I had my first appointment today--Dr. Carr is the most absolutely amazing dentist I have ever had, and her staff is beyond incredible! Walking into Dr. Carr's gorgeous office, it is easily noted how exceptional Dr. Carr and her staff are! Every aspect was covered to make you feel comfortable, from the friendly greeting by name when you walk up to the desk, to the smallest details of homemade chocolate chip cookies, coffee, and cucumber water awaiting so you could relax until you are called back. Having lived in 15 different states, I've visited lots of dentist offices throughout my lifetime...but never one like this. Establishing initial contact, registering as a new patient, and scheduling my first visit all were very pleasant and easy. When I arrived for my first visit, I immediately noticed how welcoming and accommodating the staff was. The hygenist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Carr did the same and was very professional and comforting when she performed my exam. It was an exceptional experience!

I absolutely love Dr. Carr!!! I tried out about 6-7 different dentist before Dr. Carr and she is the absolute best! Her office is so nice and relaxing.
