ASF is an entirely "asset-light" non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) / freight forwarder and customs broker. The Company operates offices in Mobile, AL (HQ) with regional offices in New Orleans, LA, Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. While predominately based in the South East United States, the company serves all major US Ports, and provides logistic services for customers throughout the United States.
With the complexities inherent when doing business in the international arena, having a strong foundation in technology is essential. Software provider, IES Ltd., has allowed ASF to provide the highest level of visibility by staying compliant with regulations and streamline business processes. In operation for 20 years, IES is one of the largest transportation software companies in North America.
Regulatory compliance is an essential component of International Trade. With the increasing number of regulations and need for operational transparency, it is essential that importers and exporters have professional advice in this area. It is essential that transactions remain compliant with international laws.
Marine Cargo Insurance covers physical damage or loss of goods whilst in transit by land, sea, or air between the points of origin and final destination. Unfortunately, many international shipments move uninsured as importers/exporters view insurance as an unnecessary expense involving extra administration.
New and developing markets represent a significant opportunity for US exporters from basic raw material through to finished consumer goods. Visibility, control, and responsiveness in your supply chain are critical to ensure that your products are in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost.

I am only giving 1 star because I'm not able to give less than that. They "no-showed" for a pick-up, after calling to say a driver was on the way, which resulted in factory workers being called in after-hours to load the truck. Sadly, after reviewing previous emails, this wasn't the first time that happened. NEVER AGAIN!!!
