This is the first dance experience for my 4 year old granddaughters and I couldn't have made a better choice. The owner and her staff are so great with the girls making sure they work on a level which is appropriate to them and that they have an enjoyable experience. My girls have made progress in the short time they've been there.

Understanding that each child and young adult possess different learning styles and timelines for personal progress, the JDM team is wholeheartedly committed to understanding these differences and individually nurturing each student regardless of learning style. Some students are born with certain favorable or ideal physical and anatomical body characteristics such as turn-out, hypermobility in joints, and above-average musicality.
A 30-minute introductory session, our exclusive Twinkle Babies dance class is a unique and valuable foundation in the world of dance. The secret to our class success is the perfect mix of structure and fun. Combining ballet, tap, and creative movement, our tiny dancers learn the primary steps while developing their imitation of movement and ability to follow direction within a positive environment.
Our hip hop classes provide a structured method of learning various hip hop dance movements in a fun-filled and vibrant class environment. From R&B and house to club and pop, our hip hop classes utilize upbeat music from various genres in addition to the latest hip hop hits. The resulting outcome is an energetic class that not only teaches students hip hop movements and technique, but also instills rhythm and precision in their muscle memory.
Designed to take your child from absolute beginner to stage-ready performer, our ballet classes are divided into three stages. Our Ballet I program fosters musicality, body awareness, and movement potential in a format that encourages individual artistry. The class explores the elements of dance, body, space, force, and time, through creative exercises that are movement focused rather than story focused.
Jazz combines many styles and techniques from ethnic and contemporary dance through to ballet. Rhythm, upon which all dance forms depend, is particularly integral to jazz dance. The first half of our jazz classes consists of exercises aimed to stretch and tone muscles and develop support for proper stress-free alignment of the skeletal structure.

Extremely unprofessional service from the woman at the front desk. Very odd behavior toward the people who are paying your bills...I’d like to hope she was just having a bad day but when speaking to other parents it appears there is a pattern...people who have prejudice against children of COLOR should not be working with children AT ALL. You have absolutely no problem putting money from people of color in your pocket but yet you treat those same people as if they are lower than you. Disgusting.

My daughter has been attending classes for several months now and she wakes up asking if it's "dance day". She loves putting on her blue dress and dancing with her bear (her words). The teachers are kind and the staff helpful. Glad we made the choice to come to JDM!

My son has been dancing with the performance team at JDM for about 3 years. The staff is so passionate about developing the whole child—promoting the value of hard work, kindness, and inclusion over pressure to perform.
I truly believe the positive vibe of the studio community helps the kids WANT to do well, therefore resulting in numerous top finishes at team competitions!

We’ve been at JDM for a little over a year now and my daughter loves it! We started out with just one class last season and this season went daughter is in 3 plus we will be doing the daddy daughter dance because my daughter loves the teachers and classes so much! We couldn’t ask for a better studio!

First and foremost, my daughters enjoyed the class. But, I’m not enchanted with the overall setup at JDM. You cannot watch your girls/boys dance in person. You have to watch from a tv or log into the Zoom meeting... while sitting in the lobby. There is a window into only 1 of the 2 classrooms, but it was constantly swarmed by photo taking moms.
I wish I could’ve shared in the excitement of my daughters first dance class, but it’s not set up that way and that’s a bit disappointing. Sitting in a chair for 45 mins while I watch a fuzzy tv does not sell me on their $52 and $67 per month services

My daughter started at JDM last year as her first year in dance in the Twinkle stars class, we are now in her second year doing Mini Ballet and Mini Tap/ Jazz! To say that she loves dance and loves JDM is an understatement! The classes are fun and challenging. JDM Dance is also very affordable! This is an expensive sport and JDM gives you every penny worth!
