Sit down with him long enough, and Ryan Gootee will tell you a wonderful story about how he started his own general construction company in 2004 after having worked since a teenager, including after school, weekends and summers, for his family construction business. The work was in his blood from an early age.
Starting his company fulfilled a dream for sure - but when he assembled a core team of experienced and qualified construction managers (all of whom are still with him today) to join him, the dream began to take real shape. In 2005, following Hurricane Katrina, the new company began taking part in the huge rebuilding effort of New Orleans, and now, many chapters later, the RGGC story continues.
