Teachers guide students to achieve their goals, grow with confidence and foster a love for the art of dance. Performances of The Nutcracker: Clara's Dream will be held at Framingham State University's Dwight auditorium. Two performances are scheduled. Each year we accept applications for Student Teaching Assistants from dancers in Grade 5 RAD ballet and above.
These dancers are assigned year-round to a class within the school and serve as an assistant to the teacher. They attend training sessions and learn how to help with the class management and also how to communicate clearly with students. Valuable members of the studio! Congratulations to all the students who took RAD exams this September.

This is our second year at Metrowest Dance Academy and I cannot say enough good things about it - the community, the approach, the level of productions, the opportunities for children to learn what they can do when they practice. Mrs. Williams has created a studio that feels like home. The space is welcoming, the teachers are firm but friendly and the approach is truly on the art form of dance. I love watching as she and the other well-trained teachers usher my daughter into an art form she loves, showing her just what she is capable of in an age and skill appropriate way. The annual production

If I could give 100 stars I would. I have been dancing for more than 27 years taking lessons at Boston Ballet School, Boston Conservatory, Jose Mateo Dance and Madame Nora Irinova Venchi. I followed Gemma Williams and Sarah Cerulo to Metrowest Dance Academy because of their professionalism and the quality of the dance classes taught under the RAD syllabus. I have taken classes with some of the most talented pre teen and teenagers under the direction of Mr. Russell Clark at the academy who also teaches at Boston Conservatory. They are far superior then many students I have taken class with in other

Since I got to this area, I've been looking for good ballet classes. And I can tell that my daughter felt like home since the first class. She's been on the RAD method since she was 3, and coming from another country, and another language, listening to the same music, and same method of teaching made her feel in the perfect place to be. Also the… teacher was very welcoming, the class pace is perfect from the warm up, to the last creative dance and reverence. Of course being on the RAD technique makes you feel safe that the teachers are certified and know what they are teaching in every single

Although studio has a pleasant environment and appears professional on the outside, I have some issues with the school as a parent of a former student
1) The students are behind in the national standards: Even the "stars" of their school are light years behind what dancers should be able to do in terms of their technique and abilities. Dancers, by 16 years old, the latest, should be able to take a full class en pointe, get through a 3 hour class, do "real" versions of classical and contemporary variations en pointe, partner, and take at least 18 hours of dance. The school cannot deliver this

My daughter is beginning her fourth year at Metrowest Dance Academy, and we could not be any happier with her dance education. The teachers are knowledgeable and patient, and have consistently shown an ability to connect with the students no matter if they are the youngest students or the more experienced dancers.
One of the things I personally love about Metrowest Dance Academy is the extremely diverse student population; my daughter and I are fortunate to be surrounded by some truly wonderful people from so many different backgrounds and cultures.

We are so thankful we found Metrowest Dance Academy! The studio atmosphere is encouraging and warm. The teachers are excellent and have high standards.
The most amazing part of this community so far has been the fellow students. They are inclusive, gentle and kind and create a studio based on dedication, work ethic and grace to their entire community.
As a dancer, and now Mother of a young dancer, finding a studio that is encouraging, healthy, and inclusionary is a top priority to me. Finding one with the passion and talent of Director Williams and all of her teachers and staff has been my dream

We have had a lovely experience with the whole Metrowest Dance Academy family. My daughter is on her second year and it is the highlight of her week. The instructors are kind and engaging and Mrs. Williams is the best. The end of the year performance last year was astoundingly beautiful, we were so lucky to play a part.

I can't say enough about Metrowest Dance Academy! The teachers are fantastic, dedicated, and caring. The studio is well run, with clear, timely communication, and easy-to-use systems. My daughter has been dancing at MDA since the studio opened and she couldn't be happier. This year's Peter Pan production was amazing--creative, funny, and beautifully produced. We look forward to many more happy years of dance at MDA.

Full 10 stars to this place, I've been looking for a dance school for my daughter, and MW Dance academy is a perfect fit! Staff is helpful and available, Mrs Williams is wonderful and very talented: she's strict but fun, kids enjoy the classes and don't feel pressured. And by watching older kids I know that it's a place that takes dance very seriously, and my daughter will be learning a lot. After all, you want to see the results after spending your time and money, right?

Ms. Williams has a rare combination of being firm, warm, and funny. She manages to hold the students to high expectations without discouraging them when they, inevitably, make mistakes. My daughter and I have been very happy with MetroWest Dance Academy this year and we look forward to more years to come!
