Originally from Chappaqua, NY, Dr. Davis graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Biology. He then received his degree from the NYU College of Dentistry in 2011, continuing his education at Weill Cornell Medical Center with a General Practice Residency in 2012. He now serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Dentistry, Oral, & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Ancelson graduated from The Cooper Union in 2007 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering. In 2011, she graduated with a degree in dentistry from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. However, Dr. Ancelson discovered her true passion for working with children while training in general dentistry at Weill Cornell Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center.

I’ve been to many dentists and Dr Davis and his staff are by far, the absolute best !! I had a dental emergency and Deanna at the front desk was so calm in managing my emergency and was able to work me into the schedule that day. Shelley was welcoming and understanding during my pre-visit intake and helped to calm my nerves. Dr Davis was truly amazing handling the emergency !! I can’t say enough nice things about metro dental and their staff! From Deanna the receptionist, Shelly the dental assistant and the wonderful Dr. Davis, I’ve never been more calm and comfortable at the dentist! This is coming from someone that is deathly afraid of the dentist due to previous terrible experiences. I’m so happy I choose Dr Davis, thank you all for making me comfortable at the dentist again. Dr.Davis does excellent work , He has a very good staff “ Shelly “ in particular makes you feel really welcomed in relaxed if your aren’t to comfortable with being in a dentist office as my self & they play good music to keep you relaxed. I have been going to Dr. Davis over a year now and each visit has been nothing but professional, accommodating and easy. The office is welcoming, super clean and they handle billing with utmost transparency which I really appreciate.
Dr. Davis fixed my crown that my previous dentist made a mess of by leaving a space with the neighboring tooth which caused food to get stuck in there each time I ate. After two visits my new crown was perfect.
As a person who used to hate dental chairs and had anxiety being on it, Dr. Davis, Shelly and his team understands my needs and make sure I am comfortable

Dr. Davis is a master of dental health. He is super polite and gentle with the procedures and cleanings. His bedside manner is also amazing. I found my new go to dentist for everything. He really helps you understand what is being done and breaks everything down, which is a huge plus. The office is clean, very high tech and modern. I’m so happy I found Metro Dental. Dr. Davis is the best dentist I’ve been to. He always takes his patients on time, I’ve never had to wait and neither has my husband. He takes his time and I don’t feel rushed in the appointment. Dr. Davis is professional, knowledgeable and sweet. The office is extremely clean and staff is friendly. I always feel welcomed when I go.
