If you or a loved one has had a complete joint replacement of a shoulder, wrist/hand, hip, or knee, physical therapy is necessary for optimal recovery. Plaza Physical Therapy has a team of specialists to help regain flexibility/movement, improve strength, decrease pain, and return you to the activities of daily living.
Any loss of function, whether congenital or through injury or accident, can devastate lives. A hand therapist or CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) offers the assurance that the highest level of competency will be used in diagnosing, evaluating, treating and rehabilitating hand problems or dysfunctions.
For people with health problems resulting from an injury or disease, the physical therapist assists in the recovery process making them stronger and more mobile, relieving their pain, and helping them to regain use of the injured area or to return to work and recreation. Physical Therapists are experts at teaching patients what to do to shorten their rehabilitation time.

All the staff and therapists were excellent. Joe was my primary physical therapist and provided effective maneuvers and exercises to address my specific needs. He professionally assessed my conditions and set goals for my recovery. The other PTs who provided additional assistance, were also very knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to my situation. The equipment they used was just right for the job.
The admittance and scheduling personnel were efficient and pleasant in interactions with them. Overall, I was very impressed with the entire Plaza Physical Therapy organization.

My experience with PPT after my knee replacement was impeccable! The receptionist staff were very courteous and friendly each visit. The PT's Joe Piersanti, Jason Schultz and Craig Wainwright were amazing. They had such a great demeanor and treated me with respect but yet kept me on top of my game! They always had answers to any questions I had. I would recommend PPT to anyone who is needing any joint PT. They sure made my knee replacement so much more tolerable. Keep on rocking it guys!

I've been to Plaza PT for two different rotator cuff surgeries over the past 3 years. From the time you walk in, Tracey at the front desk is very friendly! During my second time there, I worked primarily with Joe P, but I also worked with Jason S and Craig W. All three are super knowledgeable, very personable and extremely friendly to chat with during therapy. They know their stuff and how to properly help your body heal and get back to normal. I would recommend Plaza Physical Therapy to anyone who asks!

I would highly recommend Plaza Physical Therapy! I had knee replacement surgery on March 1, 2021 and started therapy the next week. I completed four weeks with Matt and Jason and they both were wonderful! They were very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. They thoroughly explained the activities they had me perform and the benefit of doing them. I was amazed how much I improved in those four weeks! Keep up the great work Plaza Therapy!

My experience at plaza was a great one! If you are looking for a place to get physical therapy at, this is the place to go in the Davenport area. If you are going to go here, ask to get therapy from Joe P., he’s a great guy and will help you with whatever you are dealing with! And if he can’t get to you on certain days, Jason is another great guy to get therapy from too! They both made going into my appointments enjoyable and worth it. An overall great experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Plaza PT! The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout the entire process. I thought my days of running and playing sports were over due to two labrum tears and a hip impingement all on the same side. However, after surgery and working with Joe prior and post surgery I am now back to running and stronger than I've ever been before. Definitely would recommend coming here if you are an athlete (regardless of sport and level) who is missing out on their sport because of an injury.

My experience with Plaza Physical Therapy was as great experience as I could get from going through all the pain of a full knee replacement you must go through to get to your recovery of feeling normal again. Joe and Jason were kind, understanding, but also very tough with the therapy process. They were great at pushing you to your limit to get the best result. I am grateful for all the help and the friendship I have built with them at Plaza Physical Therapy. In the future, if I need a Physical Therapist, I will call Joe at Plaza Physical Therapy!
