Scardino Doors was wonderful from the very beginning to the end. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We shopped around for a bit at first and once we understood what was available and the various prices we chose Scardino. Holly helped us pick out our design by showing us samples that fit our architecture and tastes. Then they tweaked the design to make it our own.
Once the door was ready they worked with us to schedule the install and showed up right on time. They were very careful removing our old door and sidelights and transom. They were leaded glass so they took extra time to keep

The townhouse we bought several years ago already had imported exterior doors with multi-point locks. The locking mechanism on some of the doors became inoperable over time, and we recently had Tom Scardino come evaluate the issue. The company was easy to work with in setting up the appointment, and Tom was extremely nice and knowledgable when he was in our home examining the troublesome doors, pointing out to us why the locks were not engaging. He thought his repairman would have to remove the locking systems from the problem doors and perhaps use replacement parts, so the offer to do the repair

Well, I wish I could report better but I simply cannot. Wasted many hours trying to communicate with the owner, Tom, with never returning a call in a timely manner and then simply stopped responding. Also, very overpriced compared to ironworks and other like companies. There are better door companies than this with better service.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Initially we felt great about our doors. They were very, very expensive but I felt like we had made a premium purchase.
Then over time, the paint and finish begin to weather. Much more rapidly than I would have ever thought. These jack-wagons want $1,150 to refinish the doors.
Completely bogus. It's not a premium product, just a premium price.
And they've got you by the short hairs since it is a completely custom door. We may have signed up for a vicious cycle here. Man, I'm mad!

WORST ever!!! They totally ruined my iron door and now won't even fix it or compensate for the damage. Even after measuring the door opening 3 times they made the door different shape and had to cut out bunch of my trim and stucco to fit the door in. Now I am left with damaged trim and damaged stucco which will cost me additional $5k to fix. Tom scardino refuses to even acknowledge the issue. Terrible terrible ppl and service. I am so upset and hope no one uses them again because I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we did. Pics to prove the damage. You can see before pic (1st pic
