The process with Fieldstone had its ups and downs but overall we had a very positive experience. There were problems and delays early in the process which led to some miscommunication. We established a weekly check in to receive updates, and from then on we never felt out of the loop and we’re pleased with the process. There are some areas of the home that feel low quality, specifically the paint in the house. However, the house as a whole feels very up to date and professionally built. We’ve loved the house and are glad we decided to build with Fieldstone!

January 2020: Our fieldstone home is not complete yet but I have been so impressed up to this point. From the sales team, to the design center team, to the on-site supervisor, everything has been top-notch. We were in the process of building with another builder before finding fieldstone and it has been night and day difference between them. Could not be happier with our home, the layout, and the whole fieldstone team. I'm a very tough critic too. I'll update this review once our home is complete but I have no doubt they will continue to meet my high expectations.

We like our home, but we didn't (and still don't) enjoy working with Fieldstone. Fieldstone representatives are rarely helpful and look out for their own needs. I can only name one individual I actually found helpful and like in the organization (and he's the only reason our build was only two months late). Contract terms are sited only when it benefits Fieldstone and conveniently ignored elsewhere. I agree with previous comments about the city being the only ones keeping them in check as well.

Yeah, I'm sure not everyone gets the same rep or build coordinator or whatever... But I have really enjoyed working with all 4 of the people involved with my home design and build. As an organization I feel like most of the Fieldstone employees care about getting our stuff done right. I can't speak to exceptions or one-off bad experiences that people have with reps... But we are 6 months into our build that is wrapping up next month and we have been happy with the process so far.
