Visited with a friend who was picking up some jewelry from repairs. It's the only place she trusts with her treasures.
Although I didn't purchase any items, I did get to meet Wayne Salem and the staff. They were all very small town friendly and not pushy. Which is to say they were nothing like your typical big city chain jeweler.
Wayne showed us an exquisite cushion cut diamond ring, one of the many unique pieces they had in their large selection. He seemed ready to make a deal. Too bad I had no one in mind for that piece.

We had a ring resized here, the initial estimate was 4 days, we got a call the same day that it was finished!!! We were worried with the ring being soldered it would be difficult to do! (We read lots of horror stories online) it came out beautiful!!!
Cory and I also have had 2 watches repaired, almost instantly! He needed a pin for one of his links that had been lost, and I just needed a new battery. Very inexpensive and professional!

They made several custom pieces for me. With a few ideas of my own they were able to create custom pieces of jewelry that I can wear for many years! They were very kind and accommodating and the small town shop was very personable with great affordable prices. They've done appraisals for me as well and fixed many broken chains or loose stones. If you want people who care and don't overprice I highly recommend this place!

Owner is a great guy, great personal service. He remembered my fiance and what ring she was looking from weeks before and he wasn't even the person that waited on her.
Prices are excellent. I always thought they would be inflated due to being the only shop in a small town, but I found out this isnt the case at all.
Wish I had known how good the people and the prices are before, would have saved me a few trips to the big city.

You jewelry lovers ever shop Marble Falls? The family did shopping proud today hitting up Salem's. Located on the main MF drag which is 281, we managed to find a few bargains on one of the coldest days ever in our parts.
The wife got a pair of diamond earrings for Christmas only to have a slight malfunction when one of the backs broke right off. I called ahead to let them know thanks to the distance we would be in at some point with the original receipt.
They offered to fix the broken post and mail them back at their expense so that was a glimpse of the customer service level to come.
