Dr. Armin Aliefendic grew up in Garland, TX and was a patient of Dr. Ousley! In fact, he has worked at Just for Kids since he was 15 years old! He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, but quickly realized he missed working with kids. Dr. Armin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry.
While we are committed to giving your child the best dental care available, it is important for you to know approximately what the cost will be. We will give you an estimate based on the treatment prescribed by the Dentist. Remember this is an estimate only. Occasionally, during the course of treatment, other procedures may become necessary.
Our office, as well as the The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.

We went to this dentist office since my son was 6. We are now aging out. However, I would suggest this office to anyone with kids from 6 months to 18 years. They are very personable and know their stuff. Just sad that he is aging out or we’d go there forever!!!! Love ya Dr. A although you are a reed and not brass

Dr. Ngo is the bomb! I brought my four year old in and he was wonderful with her! They showed her all their tools and what they would use them for on her “princess teeth”. They took my biggest fear and made it… an adventure for her. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place and the staff is! HIGHLY recommend. I am so thankful for this team and how incredible they treated my girl. Thank you so much 💛

Just for Kids Dental is the best!
The dental hygienists and dentists are all so phenomenal! The way they interact with the children the entire visit is very comforting, gentle and fun! During more extensive procedures like fillings or crown placement, they allow me to be in there the whole time and do everything they can to make your child feel comfortable and safe! They make every visit a positive experience where they leave feeling like rockstars! The dentists also communicate so well with me as the parent. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Armin is amazing. My grandson had been through a lot and suffered with severe anxiety and trust issues. He was careful and thoughtful executing every action, thinking forward about what my grandson’s reaction might be. He focused on keeping anxiety low, success rate and dental care high, and was an absolute professional while maintaining a caring human spirit that all people want to be treated with. My child was involved in a incident on his school playground where he proceeded to lose a tooth and bruise his gums and the roof of his mouth pretty good. I called to see if I could get him in because the bleeding just wouldn't stop and although they were tightly booked, they graciously squeezed us in. When we got there we were immediately taken to a room by a dentist and they delicately helped my son.

Staff made my kid feel at ease about procedures that needed to be done that day. They kept my kid entertained and calm and praised her for being so brave. Dr and staff made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. I also liked that I was able to sit in with my child during the long procedure she had to have. We’ve been coming here for years now and the service has improved from a few years back.

Just For Kids Dental was my sons first dental experience and I couldn't be more thankful for this office and their care. From check-in to check-out our experience was great. Kind, efficient, and caring staff. Dr. Armin was fantastic with my son and kept him from being fearful, and also made me feel at ease and comfortable with his care for my son.
