From the second we walked in, the employees were aggressive, rude, and didn’t listen to what the bride said she wanted. The negative attitude was tangible and the passive aggressive comments were a little much. It felt like we were doing something wrong by saying we had looked at other places and had an idea of what the bride wanted. When the bride tried dresses on when and said she didn’t like something, they were defensive and acted personally offended. What a terrible experience. Found my dress here in less than an hour! In fact, it was the first dress I tried on. Pamela was super helpful at filtering through dresses that were nice but not the one for me. Wide selection at a variety of price points and styles.

Just had an appointment and it was less than an ideal situation. The staff and owner were fairly friendly and we were the only ones in the store so the experience felt very personalized. We were greeted right away by our consultant. She was pleasant but I was a bit surprised she didn’t want to see any inspiration photos and instead just said I could tell her what I liked. The appointment unfortunately only lasted about 30 minutes because of a pretty poor plus sized selection. Out of what looked like a fairly extensive collection in the store turned out to be only 1 rack of about 10 dresses. I

I HIGHLY recommend Pamela and Say Yes For Less. I was looking for a designer dress at a more affordable price, and I found it in my exact size! Talk about destiny right? I live a good distance away, but even if I hadn't gone for something specific, I would have found I gown I love. Also Pamela makes it so easy and doesn't push you into something you don't want. We LOVED her!

Wow! I was wildly impressed. I am certain you won’t find a more knowledgeable wedding dress consultant in the entire DMV. The assertive yet helpful owner has been in the wedding dress industry since she was a child watching her successful mother’s store. You must make a stop here and hope you get lucky finding ‘the one’. She has a keen design eye for what you should try on to make it comfortable and easy. Make your appointment!

Let’s start off by saying everything happens for a reason! I had bought my original wedding dress from another shop in the area. Two weeks before my wedding day I had my final fitting. The seamstress did a horrible job fitting the dress to my body shape. She completely altered the style of my dress and it just didn’t look right on me. This was the first (and only) bridal store I visited and I highly recommend it. I was immediately greeted by Pamela and her staff making me feel very welcomed and excited about the experience. Walking into the store, I was immediately greeted by Pamela. She had such a warm, welcoming yet loving personality that made me feel very comfortable. She was able to listen and show me available styles for my wedding dress. Even though I didn't purchase any items she was able to search via styles for me from other stores. She called as promised with a response and I am so grateful for her. I did purchase accessories and so happy with the customer service and will inform all of my future bridal friends to shop with her!

This was my first experience in a bridal salon and Pamela made sure that it was personalized from start to finish. I really enjoyed being able to be in the salon with just my mom and I with Pamela showing us all the cool and unique dresses. Pam and her mom were so helpful and kind! I was the only person in the store and had the full attention of both of them. The store is sparklingly clean and felt very covid safe. I went in really not knowing what I was looking for and they had WONDERFUL suggestions about what would work best for my body type and would go with our wedding vibe. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a salesperson. She asked me what I was interested in and showed her a picture and she said. Turn to the side. Then she said that doesn't work for you ....you need fit and flare. Mermaid is better for your friend(who is smaller). Then she directed to a rack of dresses and walked away. The dresses that she left me to go through were horrendous. Needless to say, my friends and I went out the side door and went to get my dress from another boutique.

I had a wonderful experience here. This was my second stop after I struck out at a DC boutique where I thought I'd find the one. The stylist there recommended this place and I was able to get a same day appointment. So thankful for the recommendation! My mom and I were greeted warmly and I was free to roam the aisles of their selections to choose what I would like to try on. The stylist and her daughter pulled a few for me as well. I absolutely loved working with Pam and her Mom at Say Yes for Less.
When I walked through the door Pam knew instantly what dress would look best on me. The first dress she picked up wound up being the dress I walked out the door with. It was absolutely perfect for what I wanted and for my body type.
The dresses are all new designer dresses so prices will not be consignment priced but cheaper than paying full price for a designer wedding gown.

I happened to be in town looking for something and called and got in on the same day which was great! When i got there, there were only a few dresses that were in my size. there were a lot of dresses in the store but due to me being a little chubby and petite, there are not much options. I felt very rushed to try on dresses and make a decision whether or not i like it. I saw a dress that i really really like but since i didn't have my mother with me, no pictures were allowed and i felt sooooo rushed, i left without a dress.

I had high hopes for Say Yes for Less and was definitely let down. SYfL was my last stop of the day so I had a pretty good idea of the styles I liked. I walked in, and saw that they had a lot of dresses so I was really excited!

At every fitting I had been to earlier in the day, I had been a size 18. When I told them my size, they guided me to a small corner of the boutique and I was told these were the only ones in my size. I did find several that I liked so that was okay. When we got to the dressing room, I couldn't even get the size 18s over my hips! They let this go on for about 3 dresses

Say Yes for Less was my last wedding dress shop for the day, and boy did I save the best for last! We walked in and Pamela immediately welcomed us with open arms. She was positive, energetic, and attentive to everything I wanted in a dress. Her shop is sparkling clean and simply beautiful. My experience with her was absolutely amazing. I truly felt like a bride. She helped me find the right silhouette, and finally to find my perfect dress and veil. Not my favorite place. They claim they're a budget shop but they're just as expensive for less options.

This was the first store I went to for a wedding dress. A friend of my recommended it and I'm glad they did! I showed Pamela some photos of what I liked and then we both picked out several dresses for me to try on. I loved every dress but one of them was exactly what I had pictured and so I ended up buying it! Pamela also helped me figure out what type of veil to pair with the dress. I thought I was going to have to go to several stores to find the perfect one but she has a GREAT selection. 10/10 experience!!!! Thank you Pamela!

This place is amazing! I got engaged in May 2019 and we decided to get married in September 2019 - which is basically in violation of all wedding planning rules. So I had to go find a dress without the time to order...and wait 4 months...and get fitted an absurd number of times. My dad - yes, my dad! - did some research for me and found this place. I visited Say Yes for Less recently with my mom to shop for a wedding gown. The store is tucked away in an office building and a little difficult to find, but the interior of the store itself was well-designed and maintained. We were greeted by an associate shortly after arriving, who was friendly and unassuming. Dresses were displayed on racks in bags, so they were often difficult to get a good idea of prior to taking out and trying on. After going through some of the dresses, the owner, Pamela, stepped out and introduced herself. She was friendly and got right down to what I was looking for.

The shop owner is so helpful! I bought my dress here last year for my wedding which was just last weekend. I got SO many compliments on my dress, it was truly perfect. The prices are great and they offer a military discount which my family really appreciated. Thank you for my perfect dress!

Came in for an appointment and when I arrived the owner who was my consultant asked what style I liked and if I could show her pictures. I said I wanted something with an open low back. She said "Low back? Oh honey I won't let you do that to yourself, that dress is right by your butt line." I said that maybe not something that low but wanted a nice design in the back. Throughout the entire appointment she kept saying "I hate it when brides ask for backs, is not like you're getting married facing backwards..." "Those type of dresses only look good in models."

I found my total dream dress here, even though I wasn't totally sure in advance what my total dream dress would look like. But I knew it when I put it on.

And Pamela, the owner, is a total dream to work with. She's got a sharp eye, and is warm and kind but also utterly honest about what she thinks works for you or doesn't. She also totally went the extra mile in helping me figure out my hair pieces and veil.

Everybody else who worked in the shop was also a delight.
