I would not recommend this salon. The technician did a really good job and is a very nice person. I would highly recommend her. However, the owner seems to think that the technicians’ promotions should come at the customer’s expense. From April to July, the price of a haircut and a color went from $84 to $96 to today’s haircut and color, $106. When I inquired why the prices were going up so much, I was told the technician had gotten a promotion. I won’t be returning simply because at this rate, the cost of a haircut next year will be $200.

Maggie is a very skilled and competent stylist, and the salon is comprehensive in terms of services and product. New to the shop and stylist, and based on Yelp reviews, I was elated with my experience. I went to Maggie after a different stylist from a different salon botched a cut and color application. I could not more pleased with the work Maggie did; she did a great job, and I love how my hair looks. She is also very personable. So happy to have found Maggie and Signature Salon!

This place is the worst in Decatur. I went in with a photo and was supposed to have platinum blond hair with funky dark highlights. What I got was brassy yellow hair with a black patch on one side of my head. It looked awful so I had the girl lift out the black and supposedly tone down the yellow. After four hours I said I wanted to go home (it was 9 PM on a Friday night and this was after the stylist rescheduled me for her conflict earlier that week). She says she'll fix it the next day. I am extremely picky about my hair and was terrified to find a new stylist when I moved to Decatur. I even considered driving 3+ hours to see my sister's stylist over in Indiana! However, on the recommendation of a coworker, I booked an appointment with Lindsey.
