The idea for 3 Steves was born over 3 friends sitting around having a glass of wine and talking about starting our own winery. We all owned part of a small boutique winery where we learned the art, science, and business aspects of the wine industry. We made a lot of wine together, and our customers gave us some great feedback.
Before long we realized we wanted to start our own label from the ground up, and thought it was obvious to name our new project the 3 Steves Winery. We received our license in early 2010. For several years we made our wine in a custom-crush facility which worked well, but we had a dream of owning our own winery and vineyard one day.

Services
If you have come to taste with us, you will hopefully have seen that we don't take ourselves too seriously and that you shared in friendly banter with us. We also hope you have enjoyed our wines. We take our wine making very seriously, and wanted to demonstrate that to our guests and wine club members while still maintaining our humility.
In addition to weekend tastings, we also have plenty of other fun events at the winery including wine club release parties, charity events, art shows, jewelry shows, car shows, food trucks, and our summer outdoor movie series to name a few. The complete calendar appears below. We are also a great venue for your private events like weddings, corporate team building, and milestone birthday parties.
The following wines are available for sale so please contact us personally for purchases at 925-364-4889 or info@3StevesWinery.com. We are able to ship to a variety of states as well. Taxes not reflected in prices below. Made in the traditional Methode Champenoise French bottle fermentation style from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.

The Good: The day was beautiful so we were able to take advantage and sit outside. The wine tasting was good. They do 6 pours. Not generous pours but it was ok. The wine itself: the chardonnay, malbec and zinfindal were the best. Of the two cabs: one was not good, the other was ok. It is a friendly, comfortable place that you can bring your dogs and family. Inside, we were welcomed by a young woman. She was great. There was an older gentleman who was great also and very accomodating when I wanted to purchase some wine.
The Bad: There was a young man with black hair who needs more training

Wow. Ed was sooo wonderfully hospitable and made me feel like an old time friend!!! We talked in depth about every single wine and I got some great insight from him being the manager. The grounds are beautiful but it really comes down to the excellent service! Their Zins are out of this world and really appreciated the innovation of the 3 Cabs. Their reserve Chard stacks up with the best I've had before. Incredible quality!! If you buy a bottle your tasting feel is waived. What's not to love?!

Great view of the rolling hills from the outdoor patio. $20 for their tasting + they charged tax so it was $22. A little more expensive than some of the other wineries.
We were greeted warmly by one of the Steves when we arrived.
The ambience was nice at this location. I know alot of people that recommend this winery. For me, the ambience was great, the wines weren't my favorite but everyone has different tastes.
I would still recommend for people to check it out to decide for your pallette. The place is nice.

Met my girlfriends here on a Sunday in Nov2021. Look out for 3 Steves Winery sign as you get near, my GPS wanted me to go through another winery. One of my friends actually did and had to go back out.
No reservations needed!
Dog friendly!
PARKING:
Available lot right outside the wine tasting area
SUNDAY:
Fresh pizza made on location in a transportable pizza oven. $12/13 dollars and the crust was so soft!
EXPERIENCE:
We each did a wine tasting ($18) and it was waived with one bottle of wine purchase (~$30-50). It was seat yourself open environment situation. They have a covered outdoor area

Such a fantastic visit! Steve (one of the 3 Steves) came and sat down with us and was so personable. The atmosphere is so relaxed and fun and just a great spot in Livermore. Make sure to try the ancient Zin, the flavor profile is out of this world. Mariana was our hostess and she was so much fun. Cannot wait to come back again!!

Please come here first. Once you start here, you'll compare everywhere else you go in Livermore wine country to here. The ambiance and service are impeccable, there's AC during the hot months, and the wine is excellent.
We had Jody pour for us on our first visit and just...no words! Definitely ask for Jody when you come here. We immediately noticed everyone working here is just as amazing, but Jody had truly gone out of her way to make our first visit memorable. Absolutely loved our time here and are already planning on our next visit.
As locals, we will definitely be back, 10/10 recommend

Recently celebrated my cousins bach. I chose this winery based on all the reviews, which were 100% accurate. I did make reservations since we had a large group. Everyone at 3 Steves Winery - management/ & staff were amazing! They went above & beyond our expectations. Beautiful views, GREAT WINE, laidback vibe and incredible staff. Thank you 3 Steves for an incredible time! I'll definitely be back for more.

What an amazing Winery for Mother's Day!!!!
We went here to 3 Steves Winery to have some wine tasting in celebration of Mother's Day and they blew it out the park......again !!!
They were so attentive and kind and friendly when we got there. Made sure to make reservations online so they knew we were coming. They just came out and just treated us like royalty. Ed and Tracey were so kind to us and really made our guests feel so amazing. It was their first time going wine tasting and they said that they felt so amazing at this winery.
3 Steves had great wines but their customer service

While this was quiet the drive from SF it was much needed. I came here with a couple of my friends and really enjoyed our time at 3 Steves. We all opted for a $15 wine tasting and loved it so much we ordered a couples bottles to enjoy there and a couple to take home. 3 Steve's happily deducts one wine tasting off per bottle you purchase. We found that to be a crazy deal that we just couldn't let the fun end after our last tasting pour ended.

It's amazing how Steve's Winery really accommodates wine lovers during the ever-evolving concerns about COVID 19. The customer services is beyond miraculous, and as they would walk around serving your level of choices. Go with the 2016 three zins, this wine has a massive amount of complex fruit as well as a significant amount of spice or go with the $15 sampler, What a steal.
A pizza truck named Mozzeria, on site, the sign of Pizza is truly delicious and remarkable when it comes to their specialized Italian sausage pizza..
Be ready for consumptions! Two thumb ups.

So piggybacking on a recent one star review left by one of my friends in my party. Last Sunday I went here for the first time and had a less than stellar experience.
Firstly, I'm not one to leave a ton of reviews (as evidenced by my profile activity) and secondly, I am most definitely not one to scream racism and ignore most instances when that happens. However, last Sunday at the 3 Steves, unfortunately what we experienced is worth sharing.
I noticed that they responded to her review and had to laugh. Why might you ask? Because their response was ironically reminiscent of the sentiment

We love 3 Steves! Had an absolutely great time with my hubby on a cold and blustery Valentine's Day. We love their wines especially the Sangiovese and have been club members for years. We always feel safe since they are strictly following COVID protocols to keep everybody safe. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating and it was awful to witness the abuse the staff had to take from a group of youngsters that didn't seem to understand that the COVID rules require them to have reservations which are taken on a first come first serve basis. The winery was completely sold out

Cute place to hang out outside with a nice view. I tried two types of wine, which I both enjoyed. They are really strict and careful with their COVID rules, which is great! You are required to but a wine glass, but they let you share if you want. The glass is also pretty cute and $5, which isn't bad. They also had a food truck onsite, which was great to snack on while sipping wine.

In theses days of COVID, going out is always a worry. NOTHING to worry about at 3 Steve's! Today when we went they had Cousins Maine Lobster truck. YUMMY!! The checkin process was easy and distancing was enforced! We observed their cleaning process as tables around freed up. They did a fantastic job! Oh and the wine..... Fantastic! Loved the Melissa's blend - delicious blend of Merlot and Zinfandel. Loved the spice and mouth feel that the Merlot brings to the relationship. The staff and the Steve's are great!! Go on and get some fantastic wine!!

Peaceful table @3steveswinery !
Here's the skinny, in 6 easy steps to enjoy some time here:
1. Call to reserve a table.
2. Upon arrival, check in and get your health check. They will ask a series of health questions, take your temperature and tell you your assigned table number.
3. Go order your food at the food truck.
4. Bring your check from food truck back to wine pick up tent.
5. You will pay for your food, wine (either the glass or bottle) and buy glasses for $5 each. Yep, you must buy glasses, but they are the beautifully engraved 3 Steve's glasses. Covid times!

Due to COVID we weren't able to do a traditional tasting but that didn't spoil our experience here.
They have a bunch of rules in place to make sure that patrons have a good time but also stay safe. I think it's fantastic they were being so safe. All the employees were maintaining distance from each other and guests and they all had masks on at all times. They were also enforcing that the guests wear masks when not seated at the table - I saw them tell another group to put their masks on when they were walking around. The county rules state to space tables 6ft apart and they had
