The integration of acupuncture into mainstream medicine is lead by DAOMs, who have the highest level of education and specialty training in acupuncture.
Acupuncture is a nearly painless procedure whereby extremely thin (0.25 mm) acupuncture needles are inserted through the skin. The needles are then used to manipulate subcutaneous tissues including nerves, muscles, and blood vessels in order to treat your problem. There are many different procedures used by acupuncturists.
Acupuncture is currently recommended for the management of chronic or sub-acute low-back pain by both the American College of Physicians and the American Pain Society. As research data supporting the use of acupuncture continue to mount, acupuncture is recommended for more conditions each year. It is no longer an "alternative" or a "complement, " it is just another option.
Acupuncture is one of the most effective treatments for MVA injuries-and it is covered by your personal injury protection. Your acupuncture treatments and exams are all covered by your insurance. We bill your insurance for you. Most of our patients have $0 out of pocket expenses. You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient PIP coverage on your plan.

Jacob Godwin is a Godsend! I have suffered with complex regional pain for 5 years now and have tried everything. He really knows his stuff and works with you to figure out a way to find relief. If one method didn’t get results, he would try something else. He doesn’t give up if he can’t find a way to help right away (like most healthcare providers do). After trying 3 previous acupuncture techniques, he tried a 4th method and I can finally say that my symptoms are showing improvement after all these years. For the first time in a long time, I have found relief from the neuropathy in my feet
