The Wilhelm family began operations in the "Uptown District" of Lisbon avenue in 1945 when Lawrence Wilhelm opened his grocery store on the corner of 52nd and Lisbon. Through an odd unfolding of events in the late 1950's Lawrence began selling used windows and doors right at the grocery store. Demand for this new "grocery" line, became so popular that in 1961 he closed the grocery store and started Lisbon Storm Screen and Door Company.
In 1970 the store incorporated under its current name Lisbon Storm, Screen and Door Inc. Today, our annual sales are in excess of 9 million and our customer base extends throughout the United States. During the mid-1980's Lawrence sold his shares to his two sons Gerald and Paul. In 1988 Gerald and Paul closed the 52nd street location for a much bigger and more usable building only a block down on 51st.

Bay and bow windows are made up of an array of individual windows that extend past the exterior walls of your home, giving you more light and space. Bay windows are usually made up of three windows, often a central picture window with a casement window on each side. This arrangement is more angular and works well in spaces 40 wide and wider.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am going to be filing a BBB complaint regarding this place. We ordered all new doors, for the whole house from this place and they have sent us the worst quality doors for the doors they rememberedto order. The frame alignment was off on half the doors, they sent us the wrong pantry door, they just plain forgot to order 3 doors. And worst of all, they forgot to order the front storm door. We waited months for them to be painted, and by the time the installers were here, they didn't have a front door, just sidelights. We have had to send back the hardware that

We orderd two security storm doors and one entrance door. The staff at Lisbon Storm, Screen and Door was very helpful in helping us select the appropriate doors and hardware options. Great staff. Thanks for all the help. We worked with a contractor Dan from 2ManCrew who was very efficient in installing the doors. He was very efficient in installing the doors and didn't leave a mess. When I called to get a quote for a new entry door and sidelights, the man that answered was very helpful and said he would have someone call me to schedule for a quote in a day or two. Well...I got a call within an hour! Quote was very favorable and I went through with the job. The contractor, Weiser Window and Door did a great job! Efficient, neat and clean. If I didn't have a new door I would have never known they were there!
